I stopped going to this location after a few occasions of the ATM being out of service, then kept spitting my card back out at me & wouldnt let me do any transactions. Went to a different location & could use the ATM fine. Not a fan when I cant access my money after hours so wont be coming to this one anymore.

Avoid this place. Westerra credit union is terrible to deal with. I have an auto loan with them and I have never experienced worse customer service. Not only are they rude and curt. They cannot get the accounting right. They will misplace payments. It can take up to 2 weeks for transfers to go through. Even when transfers pull from my bank, they take multiple days to credit them to my account.

If I could give 0 stars at Westerra Credit Union, I would, worst credit union ever!! I had an account there, recommended the credit union to a family member. Upon opening the account we were super pressured to download the Card Nav app, which by the way is a third party app that people easily steal your money out of your account. Not even a year later, more than $10,000 vanished out of the account. Go in to find out why. Mark, manager at the Central Park Denver location, tells me there isn't anything they can do and tells us to call Visa. This is a debit card through Westerra. I asked for monthly print outs and he tells me he can't go back more than a month. Assistant manager, same location, Analise tells me the account was NEVER blocked due to supsicious activity, then found in the system it happened 3 times. We never got a call when this happened. Rude and condesending staff when something like this happens. Nice to you until your account is super comprimsed by them, then no accountability held on their end. The blame is passed to you and sorry about your luck that your account was comprimsed. I hope this helps you when your looking for a place to do your banking.

Takes an unworldly amount of time for my husband's half of rent to be transferred to my account, this has wrecked us financially more than once. Every other bank and credit union has better options for money transfers that become available immediately except Westerra.Been waiting since Thursday and nothing, probably screwed yet again.

The absolute worst bank/CU I have ever had to deal with - you can never get anyone to answer without a half hour or more wait and when you do its like a call center overseas and they are reading from a flow chart. They were the only ones the dealship used for car loans and have been regretting it since the start - its a comedy of errors and no one can make a decision or give you the right information. Called to get the payoff as I had had enough and was given the payoff that was good for 10 days - transferred the funds and paid it off and yet it is still showing 4.92 due? Tried to call - estimated wait time 10 - 15 minutes 27 minutes later got someone and they looked into the payoff and said the person I talked to gave me a 1 day payoff even though they marked the payoff they gave me as a 10 day payoff. They couldnot/would not honor the payoff and I am now waiting again to be called back sometime today so a supervisor can look into it I was told. Never again! Gave 1 star only because there is nothing lower - Just a sad orginization.

I have been a member of westerra before it was even called Westerra. The last few years, customer service has been terrible you asked for a callback no one ever called you. You were in line for 40 minutes so that you could be hung up on

I will drive somewhere else…bring my government check to be deposited, I was asked for my ID, then account number then social security, then she had to make a call to verify my check…and the good one after she take a look at the check, she said that my signature was crossed ???

Do not recommend - the bank had the audacity of wishing me a "Happy Anniversary" after I’ve banked with them for almost a decade. In that time, I’ve rebuilt by credit and am trying to become a homeowner.I was advised to apply for a credit card and even though I applied for their secured card, they denied me - after all this time?I don't feel like they care at all.To add it to, their apps and website are a bit outdated. Its 2021 and I can't even pause my card or do anything more than make a simple transfer on the app.

I want to love Westerra, I really do. Their tellers are nice people and the mission of community banking is one I support. But, they simply fall short time after time, particularly in tech and online services. I can't count the number of times I have connectivity issues because the Westerra system is down or dysfunctional, as in this morning when I finally felt compelled to write this. They just aren't big enough to offer the services you might expect, and I'm not sure they offer the kind of personal attention that you used to get from a small local bank. Lose, lose.

Terrible. Open then closed again, no warnings. Given the back and forth you’d think they could help you out with fees for external transfers, but nope! When you call yo speak with someone, plan on being on hold at least an hour and they never call back, so just give up! Michelle, a manager, also was unhelpful, unable to find and reasonable solutions, sent me to another bank in Arvada, she stated was open, drove 25 miles out of my way to find it was also closed. No issues really until now, but they are different now, don’t bother. Move on!
