The type of apartment you can't wait to move out of before you've even moved in. Upon move in, our unit was not ready, still needed paint, blinds, etc, Lindi did not have an ETA when it would be completed until I pushed for a date. We were given one front door key, no mail keys, and no activity keys, we were told these keys would be made and placed in our kitchen draw 'at some point'. That did happen, except we were not given activity keys. We brought this to management attention and we had to fight for the keys as they did not believe we didn't get them. Our dryer had no duct work, was not hooked up to the wall, was spraying lint everywhere until we finally noticed a couple months in. Huge fire risk, luckily maintenance took care of it quickly. They towed my partner's car that he had okayed by front office staff to park in their lot. This was likely due to front desk staff constant turnover, most likely due to poor management. There was a leak into the apartment below is, they hired an outside company to fix it from our unit. Outside company switched our hot/cold water. Not a big deal, we asked for us to be present when they come fix that as we don't trust them. Lindi said absolutely fine. Less than 2 hours after that conversation, maintenance came and fixed it while both my partner and I were at work. Zero regard for our request that was supposedly granted. Lindi also did not believe the company they hired swapped the water, blamed us for not noticing that when we moved in. We used that shower every single day, of course we noticed a water swap. Lindi is a poor manager with poor communication skills that she promises 'will improve', but never do. Lastly, they will keep every penny and more of your deposit. I've lived in many apartments and always got some portion of my deposit back. Don't bother cleaning for hours as you will still be charged a cleaning fee. I was 'highly recommend' to be present for a move out inspection, they were nearly 30 minutes late (I had to go to the front office and ask where they were), they spent less than 1 minute in the apartment saying everything looked great. According to the move out inspection we were mailed a month later, I guess everything wasn't so great. Only redeeming quality of this place is maintenance, they are nice and fix things pretty quick.

I lived here for 2 years and it was my favorite apartment in Colorado (thus far lol). Only moved out because they drove up rent and it was too much for one person on one income. Loved the location next to the reservoir and all of the nearby shopping. Great, respectful and quiet neighbors. One bedroom sizing was awesome. I liked the staff the first year I lived there, but wasn’t the biggest fan of the staff I dealt with the last half. My window had a crack during winter and when I went to report it, the maintenance manager basically blamed me for the crack? I thought that was a little disrespectful because I know I did not break my own window. It also took them like two months to fix it and it continually got worse until I escalated it. I had another maintenance staff text me from his personal number and make sexual remarks to me. He lived on site and I had to tell him to stop or I would have to report him. He moved offsite and quit his job immediately after. Then we got new office staff that was less helpful and definitely pushy during the move out process. I was pretty relieved to move out at that point. I hope this place hasn’t gone further downhill. I don’t think the price of rent is justified for how old this place is and the terrible parking lol truly hope you guys hired better people.

We had possibly the best experience possible. Excellent amenities, work order addressed on time. Friendly staff, yadda, yadda, yadda. I can’t heap enough praise of this community and neighborhood. I would absolutely recommend this community to anybody wanting to rent. Thanks!

Horrible experience. Lost my 60-day to vacate after I fulfilled my lease contract. Sent me to collections. Front office is wonderful until you sign the lease contract then absolutely unapproachable anytime after that. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE.
Old dark brown paint. Oh, and good luck finding a parking spot. It’s a joke.

Very responsive to maintenance requests. The management ensured that I got someone to address the two issues in my apartment quickly (the next day after I placed the request) and proficiently. The maintenance assistant had great communication skills and was very attentive.

Poorly managed apartment expect things to be broken and break while your living there
Old apartments overpriced and they will try to charge you for stuff that was already broken

The matienance staff is always efficient and professional. Whenever something breaks they are out right away to fix it.

I set a service request and they were knocking at the door 15 mins . Later.
The fix and left very fast as well, awesome service thx!!
Then a few months later we had problems with our washing machine, this time it took them longer to respond and finish but the did a good job as well!

I enjoyed my stay at the Villas at Homestead. They were welcoming and the apartment itself was wonderful. Maintenance team here is wonderful! It’s nice to have Amazon lockers on site. I give a 4-star rating because my HVAC was out for 3 weeks waiting for a contractor to come in and fix it. There was quite a bit of turn over in the office, so building reputar was not easy when every couple months there was someone new. The office hours also aren’t very inclusive of the working class. 9-6 on week days, when it takes on average 35-45 minutes to travel back from the city and they aren’t open when you leave for work..
living next to so much walkable area is nice though!

We really wanted to move here, it's a beautiful property. My MIL'S inclusive Healthcare did not accept the zip code. They understood and immediately gave me back my holding fee. Such an amazing peope group of people who work there. When our responsibilities to my MIL change, we will definitely be moving there.
