This is the worst post office in CO. They have stopped delivering packages, mail and even junk mail. They tell their vendors like Amazon they have delivered the packages but it's never in the package mailboxes. They never even attempted to even deliver them when they say they do. What a joke, they are like Trump all lies

Once again the drop off mailboxes are broken. Why have them if you can't keep them working.unacceptable!

Awful service. Won't deliver packages and doesn't notify you that packages are just sitting at the post office after non-attempts.

The post office is great. The actual office is now next to the market in town, no longer across the street. Watch for signage.

I come here only because it's around the corner from my home. I really believe there are a few good workers, but honestly I haven't seen them working lately, those who have been working have had a poor attitude, and move In a way I can only describe as "I don't wanna be here" I feel like they would reduce their stress by SOOOO much if they actually delivered packages, while in line one of the employees asked who was package pick up and over half the line had raised their hands, if their so overwhelmed doing their job right the first time around would help them cut their huge line down by so much. I know government cut funding can be stressful, I've been on the receiving end of it, but I still did what I got paid to be doing, theyre only open for 3 hours a day, going there is already a hassle of its own when I have to go every other week to get my mail, or a package it makes it very frustrating,

To be fair, I'm not sure if Jefferson Post Office's fault that everyone is stealing mail. it's been six weeks since they removed the mail boxes at my apartment complex due to rampant mail theft. They said until further notice, we have to pick up our s*** at the post office. I was working 9-6 Monday through Friday, and had little motivation to go there on Saturday morning. I'm off again on Fridays and only needed to go to the post office because I threw 95% of my crappy make up collection from 2019 in the trash and had signed up for an IPSY subscription just before they took out the mail boxes. Yesterday I decided to go see if I had a couple months of stuff there. I was fairly confident that the post office was going to be a disappointing waste of time, but my dispensary is across the street. They don't deliver yet and I needed to go there too. I take the bus there, looking like a total weirdo using an umbrella to block the sun because that's what I do now like i am Michael Jackson, especially because i was out of SPF 300 and I been biking and walking forever b/c i like it and also I've been too scared to drive a car for most of my adult life and now I'm a middle aged person trying to not drive or get melanoma/turn into a leather jacket. it's getting critical in my golden years and the reverse tan machine is way more expensive. There was no AC in the post office. I stand in this line 40 minutes before a worker announces "if you are here for your mail, we're not doing that today" and then goes on to explain that some guy went postal earlier in the day about not getting his s**** The worker said they are overwhelmed with the amount of mail rerouted to there due to apartment complex mail theft. This cleared the majority of the line. He told us we could try again tomorrow. Lmfao, I'm not spending my weekend trying to not get shot at the post office so I can get my May and June "glam bags" from IPSY. I guess this is what Jeff Bezos and Donald Trump wanted. Yeah well unfortunately I am going to have to go outside again and need all the sunscreen this burning planet has to offer. Walmart, another place I will like to never go has sunscreen and retinol products to remove the sun damage. So I after I buy 2000 mg of edibles and a vape pen, I walk across the street over there, past Walmart camping village with my stupid umbrella now blown out by a gust of wind/ partially broken. Also, dog who is my spirit guide but isn't actually my dog ate her crappy $30 harness from bougie pet store next to King Soopers (only purchased in emergency to replace previously eaten harness). Grocery store doesn't have a dog harness so I bought one labled large from Walmart as replacement. This one is apparently meant for a cane corso or St Bernard not a 50-some pound dog. While constantly tightening the straps, it works but it sucks and I hoped to buy a better fitting one. This time, I find one labled medium; it's a bunch of straps wrapped up tightly. When I get home, i try to adjust the straps, and turns out this medium is for a large ginea pig. At Walmart, the higher-end sunscreen that won't give me a rash or acne and the retinol products, were locked behind glass. No way in hell I was gonna spend two hours getting someone to unlock that case so I waited until 11 pm to walk to King Soopers in Greenwood Village in the dark. No locked cases there. I read that Denver and Ft Collins are inching up on the list of cities with the worst air pollution in America, and even at night, I could taste it. I'm fully vaccinated, the pandemic is getting cancelled, and I'm suddenly not part deaf but besides the 270 mass shootings in America since last weekend or the weekend before it is so hot and gross out I don't want to leave my apartment. For the rest of the weekend I'm staying inside with the blinds closed to keep out harmful UV rays, AC cranked and will be slathering myself with retinol products. I'm staying the f*** away from the post office an

HORRIBLE. Horrible horrible. The service at this location couldn't be worse if they tired... and it literally seems like they are trying to be as awful as they can. There is never more than 1 person at the counter, but usually there is NO ONE. They disappear into the back for 15-20 minutes to "look to packages" but I'm confident they are taking naps. I've never seen people move slower with a line of 20+ people waiting to give them business. The attitudes of the employees are almost comically horrific...never a friendly greeting, never basic manners or even an apology for the criminally long wait time while they move like snails seemingly on purpose. I have watched frail elderly customers wait over an hour for a basic need without any assistance. Is there a way to report this location?? How hasn't the US handled this by now? An absolute abomination. Seriously go elsewhere.

Took my package here where it said accepted for three days before finally scanning at the Denver distribution center. What kind of service is this? I used another location and my package is already moving. Lines here are super long and when I asked for a label to write the address on one of the employees told me "write it on the box" when there's a whole stack of labels sitting behind the desk. What kind of service is that? Smh

If you have the option to use a different post office I highly recommend it. This post office was assigned to us so we often pick up packages from them. Whether there is two people or ten people in line it will take a while. I've been there to get a package they couldn't find & often get notes in my mailbox that small items are in fact oversized & I need to pick them up here. Admittedly I was warned by neighbors when I moved in that these people do the bare minimum. Really a hassle. Our old post office was so efficient & I now realize that I took them for granted.

READ about what's happening to the USPS before writing a bad review. The entire USPS is in trouble. They are running out of money, running out of workers, and running out of time. What's left of these people are working hard, and we seriously need them. We need to support the USPS.

One teller with a line of over 25 people. Unbelievable. Go somewhere else for quicker service.

Don't not use this post office!!!!! They don't scan packages out and send them to the Denver distribution center. The grow them in a truck and them route them to New Mexico or Las Vegas making your packages show up 6-8 days later than they should and the refuse to give you money back even when you paid for 3 day shipping. Worst post office in Denver. I had one package that was going from Denver to broomfield and it took 14 days to show up because of this post office. They routed it to Seattle where it sat for 4 days before coming back to Denver. This place is run by morons who don't care at all

This place never has flat rate boxes in the self service area. Not sure why it's so difficult for this location to keep them stocked. There is also a female employee at the counter with the worst attitude. If you're willing to stand in a long line just to ask for a flat rate box, this is the perfect post office for you.

This is my local post office and I have heard that since there is currently no permanent delivery person for my neighborhood, they are using temps to sort and deliver mail. Two times in one week, I have had packages marked as delivered, when they actually never arrived. It is totally unacceptable to me that whether a temp or not, proper training is not being conducted to ensure that the correct mail is making it into the correct box. I cannot reach someone to discuss directly. I wish I didn't have to deal with this office.
