I thought this place was Meltdown on Main, but I guess that's the place next door. Who do the Blues Brothers belong to?
There is a LOT of merchandise in this store...a WHOLE LOT of merchandise. There are items for sale outside and items for sale in multiple rooms inside. Here are the types of things you can buy here (mostly vintage/retro/antique/old): suitcases, typewriters, knives, books, kids' books, board games, dolls, toys, records, landline telephones, Christmas tree ornaments, figurines, thimbles, framed art, housewares, kitchen items, canning jars, watches, earrings (SO MANY earrings), necklaces, bracelets, license plates, paperweights, and lots more things (but I can't remember them all). This place is PACKED with things to look at and/or buy.
Everything is neatly arranged. Items in the same category are displayed together. Nothing inside looked dirty or even dusty. The place is well maintained.
The worker greeted me when I walked in and later asked me if I was looking for anything specific. She didn't seem upset when I said I was just browsing. She also didn't follow me around the store, and she didn't act suspicious of me.
The prices did seem high to me, but I'm a thrift store/garage sale gal. I know antiques go for more, so maybe these are entirely normal prices.
I did enjoy looking around. A real collector of antiques is sure to love this place.

Wow. I feel like a shop like this — eclectic, expansive, and yet completely browsable is a rare find these days. Records, jewelry, kitchenware, toys — all in great shape, but definitely of a time before. I got a beautiful pink casserole dish, something I’d been searching for for a while. And the prices are very fair. This place is full of treasures.

Antiques on Main is simply fabulous! They have a wide variety of eclectic, whimsical, and unique items. Everything from antique lunch boxes to beautiful turquoise jewelry. I highly recommend Antiques on Main as a must see when visiting Pagosa Springs.
