Not enough flat screens TVs and not a lot of trans in lgbtq plus place of stuff. Too much Jesus music. Great grandpa Willie got bit by a child browsing the lamps. And their prices are really high and they don't serve good soup and the crackers are stale

Senior programs, respite care, free groceries - this is why I only donate here! They are a lifeline in our community.

I have been going to this thrift store for at least 15 years. Current management has lost site of the community and has once again turned the store into a high priced hoarding house that turns down donations from lack of storage room because they are not turning over their inventory, but instead holding out for months to sell an item for a few dollars more instead of making multiple dollars on multiple items by turning over volume. Colored tags with a weekly sales rate for the color makes shopping more interesting and turns more items for this community non profit than playing high ransom games for donated articles. Also have personally seen the managment claim donations for themselves before they even hit the sales floor at prices of way less than they were asking for similar items on the floor. Does not seem to being run ethically, and their governing board soon forgets their mission by listening to high apple pie in the sky promises and greed rather than the actual reality of what the function of this charity actually is! If you like seeing high prices and the same stuff week after week , this place is for you!

My Nana Helen founded the caring and sharing. I really miss her she was placed at the church. Can you possibly send me a picture of her and the house if it still there. My Uncle Dana bought the house after my Nana passed. My maiden name is Barbara Etchells I am her granddaughter.

I love this place. And the new owner has done serious work on organizing and cleaning it. I get almost everything here. Books, housewares, outdoor gear.

This is a high quality thrift store with a very friendly and helpful staff. Caring and Sharing has recently changed management and is very well organized, and the prices are fair. It's constantly being cleaned, and rearranged to merchandise all of the donations. It is one of my favorite places to find unique, and unexpected items.

I knew the woman who started Caring & Sharing back in the 90's. Helen Nachtrieb. What a great lady and she was there all the time. They have everything for people starting out or in need.

You guys are the most pathetic excuse for a donation center. I have donated thousands of dollars to your store only to be micromanaged and asked what was in my load because half of it you didn’t want. How dare you turn people away who are trying to do the “caring” thing by donating their gently used EXPENSIVE clothing??!! The way you treat your donators is completely unacceptable and appalling. We ended up throwing the rest of our clothing away because you are so distasteful with your interactions. Shame on you for turning away customers who are trying to help your community! You don’t deserve the income! When you asked me to my face if I was giving you children’s clothing or winter clothes (because you’d tell me to move on) I told you “clothes in general, you want it or not?) You have the worst employees and zero respect for those wanting to help the community. Get off your high horse and close your doors.

Quite possibly THE best "thrift shop" in the world ... amazing and always helpful staff, not to mention the best prices on just about anything you need, want or can imagine ... I highly recommend Caring & Sharing, and thank you to C&S for all that you do for the community! I ❤️ Salida
