I live in another state and my daughter had seen something in the store that she really liked. I called the store and talked to Brian. He arranged to actually have the surprise gift delivered to her local workplace. That kind of interest and caring is so extremely rare and it really meant a lot to me. Thank you Brian!!! Your service really exceeded my expectations!!!

Amazing atmosphere, unlike any other store in Vail and family owned! A mix of old genuine western attire and decorations as well as good knickknacks for loved ones and friends. The staff is very friendly and informative. I asked about a knife in the case and the employee gave me the whole backstory: The name of the knife maker and where they were from! Very cool info to know and gave me pride in owning and using such a piece with meaningful history. The owner Bill, if you are lucky enough to catch him is probably the most interesting man alive. I love this store, and will absolutely be back! Thanks Wild Bill's for staying family owned and operated when so many stores in vail sell the same old things at every corner.

A must see! Stunning cowboy hats, beautiful unique Native American jewelry and art pieces at a great price. I stop by every time I’m in Vail.

We love Wild Bill’s Emporium! If you’re lucky enough to catch Bill there, be prepared for some old school toughness matched with his kind charm and over the top customer service. If he’s not, he only hires the best to run his store, so you’re always in good hands. They have the coolest stuff! Authentic western hats, odd hats, trinkets you didn’t know existed and beautiful ornaments. Every time I’m in the Vail Village I swing thru there.

While exploring all of the shops at Vail we happened upon Wild Bills. We couldn't really tell if the shop was open because it was so dark inside, but noticed another patron going in and followed them. Lots of really cool leather goods, hats, kids toys, jewelry, western items, decorations, etc. The wares they had were great, so why the two stars? The gentleman behind the counter barely acknowledged us and ignored us for another customer who was taking his time deciding on expensive purchases and shipping back to New York. All I wanted to purchase was a carved wooden bear that I thought was really cool but at $15 it seems it wasn't enough to catch his attention or even an "I'll be right with you." There was no one else in the shop but us and the other patron. After fifteen minutes of waiting and wandering, we put it back on the shelf and left.

Wild Bill's Emporium is one of the original shops in Vail. I've never passed it by. Don't miss anything. Clever sayings & signs to read, authentic merchandise ~ some one-of-a-kind (see photos). Metal art To.Die.For. Gifts to ship home.

At a time when retail could use sone help, this shop could really use some customer service training. Was treated like they had done me favor ringing up a sale

staff/owners were completely rude when we tried on hats to send a photo to a friend that I wanted to buy a hat for. We have spent hundreds of $ there before. I will never support them again!
