My family always had their taxes done here and I have sense followed suit as an adult.I have no idea if taxes are difficult to donon your own or with the at home DIY end of year personal tax products are easy to us eir cheaper than having professionals donyour taxes for you. But if you're goingnto do something then you should do it right and have the professionals do it!

I've had the pleasure of using Granato & Associates for the second consecutive time for my tax and accounting needs and I have been blown out of the water by their work and service. Shannon has done an outstanding job of helping me out even when I called and bothered her three times a day. If you have any accounting needs or need your taxes done the correct and professional way please give these folks a call. They are a wonderful bunch with reasonable prices.

I had been a client with Granato and associates for thirteen years. When I went to file my taxes this year, Patty Fischer treated me in a demeaning, rude and unethical manner. In 2009 I needed to use a line of credit for my business. Unaware of how to enter the use of funds in my Quickbooks account, I entered the funds under ordinary income, an entry that any CPA would be able to fix in about an hours time. It took her 4 hours to berate and insult me. She goes on to tell me she has a problem with how I pay the comany for their services. At this point, I had never had an outstanding balance with Granato and associates. Members of my family had used this company for as long or longer than I had. I was shocked at her lack of professionalism which included smoking in her office and foul language and having her unlicensed daughter Shannon take on important tasks in preparing returns. The year before, Shannon had backed up an old copy of my Quickbooks after I had made changes to correct the old copy. Patty had to go back and re-edit the changes I had spent hours adjusting. I was charged for Shannon's mistake, but didn't complain given my history with the company. The day after my meeting with Patty, I was sent an invoice for 5.5 hours of accounting preparation. Not only was this an egregious overcharge, she spent half of the time complaining, demeaning and insulting me without even completing the books. I had to have another accountant revise her mistakes and complete my books. She has since threatened to send me to collections. I have impecable credit, but I am not paying for her services. Granato and Associates can spend another 5.5 hours responding to my grievances.
