This is the third lift to travel up this alignment. The first was the Riblet double chairlift that underwent the destruction testing in 1990. It was replaced with the original Zephyr triple chairlift displaced by the Zephyr Express. In 1999, the current Eskimo Express came in this same spot. They changed the name to Explorer but I still call it the Eskimo hard to replace 20 years of calling it the same name. The top of this lift is at the Top of the Gondola also allowing you not to have to go all the way to the base of the Mountain to get back up.
