Great park, could you have been here come visit? They have a zoo lot of softball fields, not a area to have some parties. In the fall it's beautiful I do a lot of my fall photoshoots here .Follow me on Instagram @mr.3verything

Went to "glow crazy" and it was super cool! Little expensive but still worth it! Would love to go again if they have other light displays. Fun place for a date!

The park is great and the zoo is wonderful for your family to visit. There are more events now than before. Recently, we attended the light festival. Fantastic display of animals made out of lanterns and lights.
Let your curiosity run wild! Connecticut’s only zoo, celebrating its 100th year, features 350 animals representing primarily North and South American and Northern Asian species. Guests won’t want to miss our Amur tiger and leopards, maned wolves, Mexican gray wolves, and red wolves. Other highlights include our new Spider Monkey Habitat, the Rainforest Building, the prairie dog exhibit, and the Pampas Plain with Giant anteaters and Chacoan peccaries. Guests can ride on the carousel, grab a bite from the Peacock Café and eat in the Picnic Grove. Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo is a non-profit organization at a time when the mission of helping fragile wildlife populations and eco-systems is more important than ever.
