My experience with CHMC was FANTASTIC!My Salesman was Kyle Dennis and he did an absolutely great job for me. It was a very family oriented experience. I bought a relatively expensive beautiful vintage 356 Porsche. After delivery we did find a minor problem and Michael, the owner stood behind it and supported me getting it fixed 100%. It was all I could have asked. He, his wonderful wife, Bebe and his whole staff were gracious, kind, knowledgeable and helpful throughout the transaction until delivery and beyond. I highly recommend them! Carriage House Motor Cars is an incredible place to see with all types of vintage and new collector cars. I could not have had a better experience buying my Dad's Dreamcar for him!Curtis S. Chastain, Lt. Col., USAF

The owner is a money hungry person that has absolutely no empathy for other people. Had a very bad experience working with the owner and his wife. They do not care about there employees at all I feel horrible for them. If you're a decent person find somewhere else to buy/fix your car. If I could be more specific I would, for what it's worth take this review into consideration, trust me. You would think when someone has such deep pockets like the owner of this place they would have a little bit of a heart. To much money in the wrong hands really can be dangerous, maybe it just changes people. Good luck.

If you love classic, antique, luxury, or super cars...you must visit Carriage House Motor Cars online or in person. I bought my first Ferrari from them almost three years ago in 2018. I found it online in their inventory at 3 am, met Kyle and saw the car about 9:30 am, didn't even choose to test drive it and finalized the sale about 11 am! I didn't even know there was a college degree in Automobile Restoration until I met Kyle. He has that degree from McPherson College in Kansas, the only school that offers it. Kyle is more knowledgeable in all brands and ages of cars both foreign and domestic than anyone I have ever met in my lifelong love of collectable vehicles. When I picked up my 2005 Ferrari 360 Spider street legal race car, Kyle did not just hand me the keys. He drove me in it for almost half an hour demonstrating and describing all its unique aspects and its awesome speed and handling then had me drive it with him riding shotgun for another half hour!About a month ago, I decided to get a second and newer Ferrari and started a national online search for a specific model and color. When I found one I liked in Chicago, I called Kyle and asked if he could broker the sale for me and bring it to Greenwich for their service (more on that below). Kyle has contacts around the country and one of them in the mid-west went and checked out the car before Kyle negotiated the sale. Their brokerage fee was incredibly reasonable and less than I expected, but they are all about having customers for life and providing exceptional support for automobile afficionados and novices alike. Kyle will be shipping my 2017 Ferrari 488 Spider to me in Florida next week. The knowledge and effort in the sales area is highly complimented by an amazing service crew headed by Zane. He is a true artisan with an obvious love of vintage and exceptional cars. He also has amazing technical skill demonstrated by a repair he did on my 360 convertible top. It has a highly complex system of steel cables, pullies, and hydraulics that automatically lowers and raises the top. One of my steel cables snapped and getting a factory replacement from Italy would have taken months. Instead, Zane fabricated one completely from scratch with locally available parts and supplies. Another time, he spot welded and repaired a seriously damaged OEM alloy front wheel to like new condition that was not available for purchase anywhere from Ferrari or any online source at any price. Finally, on the 488 I wanted the black brake calipers changed to yellow to match the car. Rather than taking a very long time and a large sum of money to get replacement calipers from Ferrari, he repainted the ones already on the vehicle so I could have it much, much more quickly and at literally a fraction of the cost. And then there is the honesty of the entire group. When I brought my 360 back for service a few weeks ago, I was rushed and inadvertently left my wallet in plain view on the center console. My folded bills (in excess of $400) were also clearly visible. At least four different sales and/or service people drove the car on the premises before I called from the road asking them if I had left the wallet. Not only did Kyle find it and send it to Florida faster than it took us to drive there, the money and contents were untouched!!!In summary, if you are looking for any age or model of car you must at least give Carriage House Motor Cars a chance to find it for you. If you are anywhere near Greenwich, CT you should also drop by to see their jaw dropping inventory even if you are not a buyer. It is like visiting a car museum! And if you need service of any kind on your special car, at least get a quote from Zane.

Bought a car from them in 2020 and while the outside was renovated beautiful, the guts of the car was a disaster. No brakes, leaked oil and other fluids and back lights did not work. Had to spend a ton of money on items which they misrepresented. Do not trust them.

OK so I bought this 2009 Ferrari, sight unseen off Ebay. My wife thinks I am nuts. The price seemed too good to be true and that scared me. End of story, Kyle answered all questions promptly, offered great service and convinced me to take a chance. I am in Florida and this was a 2009 car. That's the last year they made that F430 Spider. I get the car and it's better than I expected. Almost perfect. No scratches, mint everything, low miles, cheap price by anyone's standard $40,000 under retail. I offered to pay shipping and they offered to do a full service. It's hard to trust anyone anymore. I am here to let you know that you can trust what these guys say. Especially Kyle. I am in no way related to any of them. Just a happy customer. Eric in Orlando Florida.

OK I cannot say enough good about these guys. I am on my 4th Ferrari so I know a little about these cars but I am in Florida. They posted a 2009 F430 for sale. It's the last year of this model and very few were made. About 50 Spiders in all, because Ferrari was gearing up for the 458. This means if you want a 2009, you have to jump. The problem is, you can get stung. I asked a few important questions and jumped. I got lucky. Kyle answered fast and after getting my car, found out he was 100% truthful. The car was better than expected (really) and low miles 7500 and priced way lower than it should have been. That actually scared me but he offered to let me pay more if it would make me feel better :) They can feel free to use me as a reference and give potential customers my phone number. Eric in Orlando.
