The lobster at Abbott's is top class. You get to enjoy your meal sitting right on the water watching the boats and enjoying the beautiful horizon. Dress accordingly for the weather. From what my wife and I experienced the service was great, the food was great and the atmosphere is calm and relaxing. You can't seem to go wrong at Abbott's.

Rubber lobster, rude employees, outrageous prices.

The pricing is good, but the quality and ambiente lacks a bit

Incredible seafood, really good clam chowder, good deal for the quality of seafood you're getting. You also get an incredible water view while you eat your delicious fresh lobster! Doesn't get better then this place!

Went to Abbott's twice, in the early mid 80's got to talking to people from CT last week at the Conch House tiki bar in st Aug fl. Not sure if this is same place but loved it. Looks like what I remember. Picnic tables outdoors overlooking the water, back then you could bring your own cooler. People pulled up in fancy cars dressed to the nines or in beaters and shorts. Gotta recommend it *****.

Best lobster rolls in Connecticut by far. The hot buttered is my favorite. The muscles were incredible as well. Nothing beats seafood by the shore in a perfect location. The prices were even pretty good for what you get!

The original Lobster Bake a must stop in the summertime. Friendly accommodating staff. Owners support local businesses. 5 stars

If you are in the Noank / Mystic area in Connecticut, Abbott's is the 'go to' place for great lobster rolls. Perfect spot for lunch by the water - but make sure you get there early, it gets busy real fast!

We were on a quest for lobster roll and this was our second stop of the day. I had the hot crab roll which was good. My husband had the 'famous' hot lobster roll. In a butter vs. mayo quest for the day, Abbot's is the winner! Who doesn't like 1/4 lb of lobster meat with butter on a roll? It's straight up!

Love love love their lobster rolls!!! I always get the OMG HOT LOBSTER ROLL and it never disappoints. They give you the butter on the side so it doesn’t make the bread soggy before you get to eat it! Also had the clam chowder and it was super delicious. Can’t wait to sink my teeth in another!!!

The best lobster salad roll. Great view.

A very popular location on the harbor, tables inside and out; prompt service. I ordered a hot crab roll and mussels - really terrific. My friend had chowder which was as good if not better than Legal Seafood.

Excellent! Great quality super fresh seafood.

Tonight was the last night for this 2018 season. The lobster was great but you are basically outside and it was a bit chilly with the fall air. My husband had the crab cakes and they were excellent. You had crab not a lot of bread and filling. Great job on the crab cakes. The soups all looked wonderful but I did not taste them. Guess we are all going to have at least five months before we can enjoy Abbotts again.

My first time here and can't wait to go back next year. The steamers, mussels, chowder were so good and then the lobster came. Omg so good. It was so fresh and cut for you so it is easy to eat. Line was not bad and flowed nicely. View amazing. A must try. Today 10/8 is the last day of the season. Yummy

Great place to sit outdoors and enjoy the seafood of your liking. It can get very busy during peak times so you can wait awhile. Sometimes there is no parking. It's has a nice view of the water.

We had the OMG hot lobster roll and it lives up to its advertised name. Lobster was cooked to perfection! I highly recommend. Its busy but they have the process down and everything moves quickly and smoothly. Great place to enjoy an outdoor experience, we loved it and will be back.

Setting was gorgeous. Staff friendly. New England clam chowder thin and watery, color was off. Lobster roll a disappointment. With the top of hamburger roll on, couldn’t see the lobster, potato chips were tasty. My friends steamed lobster was good. Crab cakes a bit wet. Not worth the drive in my opinion. Maybe we went on an off night

One of my favorite spots in the world. It's hard to find the first time, but so worth it. Best steamers and lobster with an amazing view of the ocean. Bring you table cloth and favorite adult beverage and treat yourself to this amazing experience. Sit dockside or on land. We love it so much we have taken our family and friends here to celebrate our wedding anniversary with us since 2001.

Best lobster and best lobster roll in New England. Pull up your boat to the dock or just drive in and get the OMG roll - totally worth it. I recommend 1.5lb lobster if you go that route. I've been eating here since 2005 and I've tried several lobster joints in CT, RI, MA, and ME, and lobster dinners in Prince Edward Island in Canada - Abbott's reigns supreme.

This restuarant is right on the pier. Its a beautiful scene and the restaurant is more like you order your food then you go pick you seat. You'll pick up your food when it's done. I ordered the hot lobster roll with shrimp and corn chowder. The chowder was so so bland. Like it lacked salt pepper and seasoning. No good. Don't order this.
The hot lobster roll is on a small hamburger bun and you have to ask for butter on the side. Was it good? Well, after I added the lemon and butter to it it was just good. I'll go back for a sandwich but it really lacks flavor. The view was amazing though! Parking was no issue unless you arrive before 5pm

Abbots has been here for a long time. WeHave gone and enjoyed their food many times. Sorry to say... it’s really nothing special anymore. Steamers were very chewy. The New England clam chowder is Very good. They do have many picnic tables for large groups... and it BYOB..It’s just okay.

This is definitely the place to eat I've been coming here for years with my wife and it's great every time. If you don't try it out you're missing out on a real experience.

My husband and I along with some friends, went to Abbots on a Senior Bus trip last week. We had RI Clam Chowder, Lobster, Potato chips and Cole Slaw with Carrot Cake for desert. The food and service was very good. RI Clam Chowder was delicious. Big picnic tables with roof over them by the water.

Love love the Lobster!! Was there yesterday for a Wedding and the food was great, the staff right on top of things. It was a beautiful day with family and friends and plenty of good food

Our party arrived on a beautiful day so we expected to have to wait to order but only one of two order windows was open (why only one?) so the wait was over 30 minutes. We ordered chowders (New England and clear), and lobster rolls (hot and cold), and asked for the chowders to be served first, followed later by the lobster rolls. When our number was called, the first tray had only the lobster rolls; no chowders. When the mistake was mentioned, the chowders were served immediately, so our total meal was served at one time. No apologies for the mix-up.We’ve been going to Abbott’s for over 20 years and expected the usual excellent meal. Our experience this visit was very disappointing. The NE clam chowder had a bad taste to it: we couldn’t decide what ingredient was added to adversely affect the chowder’s taste: the regular clam chowder had NO seafood flavor and was basically a soup overwhelmed with potatoes that was so unappealing that half was thrown away! Awful, with no discernible clams. None! The hot lobster rolls had adequate meat: one was delicious, the second was tough and chewy. The lobster salad roll was mostly tough claw meat, not the tender meat one would expect.Sadly, we have visited Abbott’s for the last time.

I was excited to go, making a 2 hours trip from my home through a lot of traffic on I95. The location on the water was beautiful. I was very sad to see that the classic lobster roll was actually a bun, instead of the typical lobster roll. The $18.00 each was not a bargain at all. It looked like a child's portion. The clam chowder was regularly priced, but was fishy! The wait was 50 people long! I was amazed that the party of TWO had a $150 bill for lunch. Sadly, I wont be back!

There are not enough words to describe the awesome experience and amazing food here and all for an amazing price!!! I had the steamers, muscles mix and the steamed artichoke. And enjoyed every last bite. Everything was incredibly fresh and tasty. I can't wait to come back
