Went to a ups service center to send a handgun in for repair and was told I had to go to another service center that was 45 minutes away because this one did not service my town, which is 10 minuets away. Hartford CT. locust street is only open for service from 5-6PM. Not very efficient. They would not reprint the shipping label I had to read adult signature required.

UPS customer center is a total waste of time!! I have/had an issue with a damaged package , spent 5-6 minutes listing to the recorded message assistant and it tells me "I'm sorry, I can't connect you to a call rep" the disconnects the call!! Completely Freaking useless, I'm stuck with a damaged package that was dropped off at my apt door by the UPS delivery guy. I had to chase him down the hallway and he tells me "I've got you buddy, I don't pack the truck and I didn't damage it, but I'll make a note about it" Now I'm possibly out $500 plus dollars and they could care less!!UPS replies and to my Negative review. Tells me to go on to Facebook@UPS . I leave message hoping a real person replies. NOPE !! I get another automated message telling me to go back to UPS for quick answers to my questions!!! Nothing but Lies and the Run around!!! Nobody cares anymore about the customer........Update: Waited all day and UPS NEVER showed and has stopped responding to my messages. Total lack of customer service and I will NEVER use UPS again to ship and will ask that anything I purchase ship to me via anyone BUT UPS!

Terrible recruiting process, was lied to and mislead about what the shifts would be for work, and they also lied about the job being full-time. They only notified all the applicants about the truth after all the training/ orientation was over. Also their customer service line is absolutely useless

Terrible delivery driver. Very rude. Demeanor was unpleasant. I just got a notification that my package that was out for delivery conveniently could not be delivered to my “undeliverable address.” How is my home address “undeliverable” when Amazon just delivered here at least an hour earlier?! You have one job; just deliver the items. Whoever this person is on route from this past Monday in the South End of Hartford; you are incompetent at your job, rude, and inconsiderate. Please retrain this individual ASAP because they are consistent with the rudeness.

I ordered a product online. I gave the online company my shipping address and I chose a 2-5 day arrival time. Everything went bad as soon as the package reached the FedEx Chicopee, MA facility. They changed the address on my package back to my old address and sent it to my old address, which was an hour's drive away from me. (They had my phone number but no one called to discuss this action with me). I filed a complaint three days ago with the company and told the manager I was speaking with that I was going to drive over to the old address and get it. (It is an apartment building and a former neighbor recognized my name and took the package to hold for me). The next day I was driving there to get it when the neighbor called and said that FedEx had picked up the package that morning and was bringing it to me. They didn't bring it to me. They brought it back to one of their facilities. A woman Fed Ex employee called me at 8am this morning to verify the address I want them to send it to. I still haven't seen the package yet today. If you don't have to use FedEx, please don't use them. I am contacting the company's president if the package doesn't arrive tomorrow.

I've needed to pick up from this location multiple times now because the drivers don't bother with the doorbell for signed packages. While I haven't had issues picking up from here, it's just frustrating when you clear your day to receive a signed package and the drivers don't make an effort to buzz your apartment. The lady at the desk is always pleasant to speak to though.

My Experience with UPS has had its ups & downs. But this Customer Service Location was Good to me so I'll give them a 4 ? raring.. The Guy that helped me was easy to communicate with.. This was very helpful. Note: MAKE SURE WHEN PICKING UP PACKAGES ? YOU HAVE ID THAT MATCHES WITH YOU PACKAGE!!

UPS will notify the sender with details of the damage.HARTFORD, CTThis is sad. I ordered a necklace for mothers day and never got it. No more details given on the matter. You place a call and find yourself in a loop with no one to talk to. I can't order it again because now its unavailable.

I ordered from Amazon and they shipped through ups. I get packages and mail at my house all the time. The note I got from ups said "unable to deliver. Bad address". It was my correct address. I called ups and they offered to redeliver. I told them that the address was correct, so how could they assure me that it would be delivered? They said they would put some notes in the driver directions to make sure it got to me the next day. I didn't receive anything for the next few days. Then I got a voice message saying it was being held for me to pick it up in Hartford. I'm going to return the item to Amazon and go to a local store to get it. What a waste of time. Not sure why they can't deliver to my address when everyone else can, including previous ups deliveries.

I have been actively shipping from this facility since 2012. Over the years I've dealt with a number of different customer service representatives. Some of them are exceptional and others not so much. You'd think that a large corporation would have better consistency in the manner in which they treat their customers. That aside, this place will now only accept packages for shipping between the hours of 5pm and 6pm which is extremely inconvenient! I'm not sure who at UPS thinks its a good idea to accept packages from paying customers for only one hour per day...
