Ok, so it’s not just me…
I stopped in Nest yesterday around 2:00 and not only was I not greeted, I was totally ignored- not even looked at! The two employees were eating lunch AT the register- front and center- talking up a storm about a television show. I had a necklace and earrings in a box with me, hoping to find a bracelet that would complete the ensemble. Never was I asked if I needed help, if there was something in particular I was looking for or any of the questions a good merchant/sales rep would ask. I felt uncomfortable and unwelcome. I will not return.
Nest used to have friendly helpful staff. What happened?

I was not impressed. There is a variety, but sizes, and quantities are very limited. The staff made no attempt to greet us upon entering or at any time while we were there. The prices are a bit on the high end.

I have always been very pleased when visiting the Nest, however, tonight Wednesday, January 31st was an exception. The woman working was not welcoming or helpful. I had two questions and she answered almost as if annoyed. I made my purchase and she barely spoke during the transaction. I realized when I returned to my car it was about 4:45. However, another customer was still browsing in the store when I left. It was unfortunate that I did not realize the Nest closed at five.

First time visiting Nest and was thrilled to find a hidden gem of a gift store. Candles, jewelry for every taste, unique decor items, handbags and clothing. The store smells so nice (from those candles and diffusers) and the atmosphere is very inviting. It appears they put out new inventory all the time. Worth a visit!

Nest is a must stop when I am in Mystic. A delight for the eyes and the heart. Home decor that is unique, quaint, and always changing. Not an antique shop, but you might find the occasional antique here. Beautiful glass and something for every room and budget
