This is a cute and cozy restaurant, good food and drinks, nice ambiance and overall good service. Went to lunch on a Saturday- it wasn't packed so all our orders arrived quickly. The bar area is nice, they have cute seatings by the window. Ordered a variety of tapas 1- Chips and guacamole- Guac was fresh but could have used some more acid and heat 2- Salmon Tartare- fresh salmon but could have used more seasoning. The avocado was fresh and not overwhelming 3- Fried oysters- cooked and seasoned well...tasted alright 4- Crabcake- tasted good and pairs well with the slaw 5- Charred octopus- cooked well/not overdone but could use some more seasoning 6- Chicken enchiladas - absolutely amazing. The shredded chicken was tender and juicy, and the sauce was absolutely delicious

A mixed up experience on a cold Saturday night. Me and my friend were wandering in downtown New Haven for a decent weekend dinner spot, and ended up in Pacifico. We ordered a salad, appetizer and an entree. Salad and drinks came out in time, but the appetizer and entree didn't come out for an hour. We were busy catching up, but were getting hungry as well (both tables next to us finished their meals by then). We finally asked where the food is, and the server brought it in 10 minutes with a comment "sorry somehow the ticket was printed then lost". Such poor excuse, so I was getting very unpleasant and expressed it with honesty. Then the manager came with a complimentary app and drinks to accomodate our needs. Foods were decent in quality, especially the sea bass entree. We left happy at the end of the meal. Manager did a great job to make our night memorable. Will try another time in the near future

Been here twice and had a good experience. The ambiance is nice and I appreciate the fact that they have a nice assortment of vegetarian tapas. Ironically, we had the same waiter both times. He was just ok, not much of a personality. But the food was good. They make great drinks as well. 3.5 stars.

Nice place with very good attitude and service, the food is very varied and surprising, a bit too much condiment for me tho... Hopefully they'll keep improving

Soooo I would like to start this review with the POSITIVES 1: atmosphere amazing nice little spot very cozy, romantic and warm welcoming. 2. Our greeter/seater AMAZING he literally joked with us all night and let us sit at a table that wasn't for the sized party. I LOVED him. Wish I got his name *sad face* 3. Food was AMAZING full of flavor exactly what you'd expect from a tapas bar -- wasn't too fond of the the chimmichurri sauce it was too TART but the steak skewers were so delicious cooked to the right perfection. Now for the negatives *sad face* Our server was WAY too serious and awkward. When I asked him what's the best drinks (being as I never been to this location before) he simply named basically EVERY drink on the menu -- when I asked for his favorite meal same type of party. No info was given literally read off the menu. Sad story. While me and my companion ordered our drinks we then LATER put in a request for our food and guess what? OUR FOOD CAME BEFORE OUR DRINKS. We waited an entire 15-20 minutes before our drinks came. Super disappointing especially being a new restaurant I wanted to try which was on my hit list (not many make the list). When our food arrived I literally said aloud WHERES OUR DRINKS and magically they appeared. Beyond disappointed. I would hope on the future, because I like to give places TWO tries before I write them off, they fix the issue. Otherwise I would love the place
