Cute local Bookstore. Hopefully they'll get a bigger store with a Cafe like that of Savoy Bookstore in Westerly, RI that closed in July 2023 due to folks buying online and BIG Box stores / WAREHOUSES. Gonna miss this place. These kinds of bookstores are treasures for the communities they're in. Support your local small BOOKSTORES.

For the past two years, I have purchased all of the books I read (and many still on the "to read" shelf) at Title IX Bookstore in New London. Like other book lovers, I can't stop buying books! Also, I like to support local businesses as much as possible. While the storefront is small, they order the books I want and when they arrive, I get a phone call to pick them up. Super convenient! The staff is friendly and helpful.A few months ago, Title IX took part in the Independent Book Store Day. In conjunction with their two sister stores (Bank Square Books in Mystic and The Savoy Bookshop in Westerly), patrons that visited all three stores that day received a unique patch and 30% off their next purchase!

I stumbled upon this bookstore while walking around New London, what a pleasant surprise. This place is quaint with a good selection of books. Reading more about this place I discovered they have a community book fund where you can donate towards the cost of a book or if you're the one in need help to fund that book that you want.

It's a cozy corner bookstore with a lot to offer. There is a finely curated selection of books, ranging from children's books and toys to a variety of offerings for adults. The staff there is helpful and warm. I got two books about gender identity to learn more, and a book of essays to make me laugh. My niece got a book of contemporary poetry. Shopping at Title IX is a lovely, unique New London experience.

Really loved this shop. Met with Abby, the manager. It was nice to see someone so passionate about what she does and you can feel it in the shop. The shop is very welcoming and warm. Come by and support. If you have children, bring them! Their kids section is adorable.

Great little gem of a store with every book I wanted despite the small size. Wish they had author events!

The most darling cottage bookstore! Don't be fooled by the size though, they have such a great selection, from picture books through adult, in all genres. They've had some inconsistent hours over the winter but look to be back to regular schedule now, i highly recommend visiting next time you're at the library or seeing a show at the Garde!
