One of the best comic shop experiences I've had in a long time. A lot was organized by publisher, but within that it was all over the place. Modern mixed with bronze all over the place. I moved some boxes around and found some boxes of bronze and copper and it felt like I was finding something that no one had looked at in awhile. I literally found some gems.Only bad thing is that so much is not priced and it took a while to have the staff check each one on cverprice, which is always a little bit of a bummer.

The fellow had to look up the prices of each book. I asked what was taking so long. He definitely overcharged me and my girlfriend.

The owner Jim, is a real nice guy, knows his stuff. Will order comics in at a good price, and doesn't sell comics on release date for $20 if the become hot all of a sudden (They stay cover price till later). He's great with my kids when they come in, and treats people with respect.

I just started back into collecting comics and perfer going to a store vs. Online shopping. After going to a couple local comic shops I noticed they all were missing something until I found 2nd Alarm . Now every shop has comics and some have different herd to get issues but nobody has the customer service that Jim @ 2nd Alarm comics offers!!! Hands down my favorite place to shop!!!! On top of excellent customer service he has very good prices.... what else could one ask for???

Very nice Shop theres a great variety of books and toy collectables inventory is always stocked with the latest comics and a good variety of back issues plus the owner is a very nice guy and very knowledgeable about comics plus they a nice live auction and great prices

This is a great shop with an extremely knowledgeable owner. 2nd Comics has an amazing inventory of back issues along with carrying the hottest new weekly titles. Setup a weekly pull list with them or peruse their CGC Stan Lee Signature series Amazing Spider-man issues. This place is on fire, and it is a great addition to the CT comic community.
