“United Tire has excellent reviews on Google, surprised to see only one review here. Anyway, I had just bought a new(er) car from a place I didn't quite trust but I was in a tight pinch. Two weeks after buying my car, the alternator went. I had just enough battery life to get me home from work. The car was seconds from dying as I backed it into my parking spot at home. I called a place nearby, they quoted me $479 for the repair, which did not include a tow. He said they don't do towing. So I called a few places and found a business nearby, the guy told me the tow would be $100-120. Making the total for tow and repair $579-599. He asked me where to tow it and I told him. He said his father owned a repair shop nearby and could probably do the repair that day. I was initially hesitant, but ultimately agreed, as small, family owned shops tend to be cheaper than the big boys. The drawback was they can be slower. In this case, that was true. They towed my new(er) car at about 8am on a Friday morning and I was told it would be fixed that day. It wasn't. I called shortly after they opened Saturday morning and they hadn't begun the repair...but he assured me the car would be ready before the end of the day. I called back right around noon and he said it was ready, to come pick it up anytime. Great news! I got a ride to the shop and they were pretty busy with what seemed to be happy customers. I had to wait like 20 minutes, no big deal. They finally gave me my total for the repair AND the tow. $420 out the door. Wow! Okay! One thing auto repair guys are used to is people grunting, grumbling, and groaning over the cost of repairs. When a customer smiles with glee and gladly forks over $420, it makes them happy. I told them they saved my neck and I could now get to work on Monday. They also saved me about $160-180. To top it off, I told them my car was still under 30 day warranty from the place where I bought it. I could have gotten the repair done FOR FREE but I opted to pay $420 (or a possible $599) instead. Why? Trust. You can't put a price on trust. The car has been running great ever since. Next time I need a repair, these guys will be at the top of my list.”

“In the past 48 hours I went through hell and back ever since two days ago (March 15, 2024) my car broke down and I needed a tow to get myself from Ct to where I live in the Bronx. I drive a 1980 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme and it broke down on me on the side of the road nearby exit 9 on I-91. On that night I pulled off to the side and I had to let my car cool off since it was smoking due to the oil in the car leaking. Eventually I made it back to my girlfriend's house since that was my destination I took my time to get there because of the state of the vehicle. I decided the next day in the morning, (March 16, 2024), I will wake up early and call Triple A to get my car towed from my girlfriends house to my House located in the Bronx. Around 9:20 in the morning, I made the call to AAA and told them what had happened and explained to them coherently that I needed a flatbed and it was me and my brother that needed to ride with the driver to get back home. I spoke to a Lady named Sam and she said she notated all the details that I told her. She said in about an hour that I will receive a call and text message. In about 15-20 minutes I got a call from LOMBARD MOTORS saying that they'll be there to pick the car up. When the time came and the man was outside, I went out to greet him and already, the man had an attitude as I went to greet and shake his hand, he refused me. I knew off the bat I was going to get a terrible experience. He told me my brother could not come with me even tho I told the triple A lady it was me and someone else, but he refused to let my brother get on. I said okay fine let me just ride with this dude and get back home and I'll pay for a train ticket for my brother to come back. He hooked up my vehicle with a disgust face like he was mad at the world. I sat in the passenger seat with him and thought I was going to go back home. Boy oh boy I was wrong. The man stops at NELCON SERVICE CENTER and as I asked him why are you stopping here I need to go back to the Bronx. He disregarded me and with attitude told me he wasn't going to do it. Mind you I specifically notated to Triple A I need to go back to the Bronx as I AM A PREMIER MEMBER AND THE TRIP MET THE REQUIREMENTS as it was 70 MILES out of the 100 limit. With distain, The man refused to answer me and told me that his boss wanted him to drop my car off there which I found out was total Bullshit. It was because the man did not want to take that trip and gave the situation to NELCON. Now I'm 18 and this was my first experience dealing with Triple A and my car broke down and now Im being denied my services to be taken back home. I was confused and felt like as it rains it just pours, things kept getting worse and worse. Now as I found out, this asshole dropped my car off at NELCON which is ILLEGAL TO DO SO since he went on there private property and wasted one out of the four trips that I have with Triple A. (Now I have to call corporate tmmr to make sure they were not paid for that one trip and that one trip this asshole took with my car only for like 5 miles doesn't count on my record). Thankfully with the help of the lady (I forgot her name) and a gentleman that was there, they were just as confused and I was as to why my car was being dropped at the service center instead of it going back to my house. I explained to them what had happened and they told me normally they didn't do this but due to my situation they were going to help me out. It was like a breath of fresh air dealing with the NELCON staff it showed that they actually cared and wanted to help out. They went to call AAA on there end to let them get the job now to take me back and I didn't know this but the towing Industry is worse then high school with the drama when it comes to situations like this, since NELCON told me this wasn't the first time LOMBARD did this to them. AAA said that SAM the lady I was talking to put in the record to drop the vehicle off at NELCON which was complete utter bullshit since I don't even know where NELCON was. Al”

“I've had all my vehicles servicing all my family's vehicles here since I have lived in the area.I would highly recommend them for fixing your autos at a fair price. Do not bother with dealerships or chain run auto repair shops if you can wait a day or couple days to get your auto, truck, SUV done at very reasonable prices.”

“My car died on the highway last night, had it towed to Mirela motors OK. They were very prompt by midmorning. They told me what was wrong with it, in the process I asked them to check the brakes. A short time later I received a phone call telling me about the brakes and then not long after that the car was ready to be picked up. “Everyone took such good care of me from the tow truck driver on the scene of the accident all the way through the whole Process with the insurance company and then last, but not least the beautiful bodywork done on my jeep. The team was efficient, professional, and even though it was very late into the night, they carried on like this was not a problem.
