I would never recommend this school to anyone ! I went there for a haircut and highlights. I asked for a feather cut and they gave me flat layers saying it looked beautiful !!I came in the next day for highlights. I asked for a particular colour and even showed them pictures of how I wantedit. The student was nice in the start but when later she messed up my colour and I looked funny , I told her to change it without getting irritated (remind you that I showed her the pictures of what I wanted ) . She kept pulling my hair hard during washing out the colour and when I told her not to pull hard , she began to make faces which is extremely rude. I noticed that and said nothing. The second time too she picked the wrong colour and had an annoying face . I don't like the colour nor do I hate it.I rushed out of there as I was not comfortable enough to tell them I don't like it and of course I didn't want to see her annoying face. I look funny now ! Her name is something like Allison. I'm just gonna fix this in another parlour. I would never go back again.

The owner was very nasty towards me, I came in with my Boss and her son, whom I been working for over 14yrs, I'm PcA she ask who was responsible for her , I said her son , and I'm her aid ,she then said only one of you can be back here with her. I'm like I'm her aid, she said that why I ask the question, so okay I said in the front I know it class room . So then me and her son rotated. So when it was time for her wash me and her son assist her in the wash chair , my Boss gets very emotional sometimes so I had too hold her hand and her supported her in the chair, All of a sudden I get tap on my shoulder by the owner saying didn't I tell you couldn't be back here her tone of voice was nasty!!!( I'm 50 years old I'm not child) why tap me on my shoulder I'm thinking ,so out of respect I when back too the front again ALL I heard was my Boss /best friend crying because she made me leave!!! Show no type concern for my Boss never went over too her to explain why Nothing !!!! The Students and Instructors are Wonderful people you guy's Rock keep up the good work may God Bless you all

Do not recommend this school at all. I went for the skin program and it was terrible. Half of the time we did not have products. No towels, no facial products, no wax, no lash products, no water for steamers, sheets/towels were disgusting and stained, brow products is cheap and barely works. I can go on and on. You would think a school with so much money would have materials for paying students. Learning leaders don't know what they're doing. One "teacher" tells us one thing, next one tells us another, the only teacher that fought for the skin program and taught well and actually cared about our education was Ms.Guadalupe. Thank you. Our class was basically self-taught, we learned off each other because learning leaders were literally useless. Skin program is also dragged out, spent my last 2 months of school doing literally nothing, just sitting there because there was no material left to learn. We never had a set agenda. Learning leaders would constantly switch it up, we never had a syllabus of what we were going to learn, learning material was always pushed back. First 4 months of school were straight facials and back facials, we would do the same thing over and over because as I mentioned learning leaders would constantly push back learning material. Staff is also very strange. Ms. franchesca was waiting for a classmate outside the bathroom and accused her of vaping. Almost all the colored girls in a class were terminated. I don't recommend anyone go to Paul Mitchell for a facial. Dishes/brushes are never sanitized properly, towels are absolutely gross, smocks for clients old and linty, bowls are dirty and old, wax sits there for weeks. The laundry room is also filthy. Machines are old and does not wash sheets properly. It's sad honestly because Paul Mitchell is supposed to be one of the best beauty schools in the country. As I mentioned, they make so much money off of millions of students but don't bother to give us a proper education or supplies. The school also promises you they will help you find employment post-graduation .. nope. They could care less. All they care about is if your tuition is payed off. They ask for so many unnecessary deposits that don't even go towards your tuition. Save your $12,000. This school is just money-hungry. Very money-hungry.

The student was very pleasant and caring. She listened to what I wanted. The only complaint I had was that I was not handed a mirror so that I could see the back. I believe that I would have had her cut it a little shorter if I had seen the back. It was the only time a hair dresser had not shown me the back in 65 years. There was a long wait to check out despite the salon not being very busy.I will be back.

This was my first visit so i didn't quite know what to expect. I was very pleased with how they did exactly what i asked for. My student attendant listened and asked questions of me. She also worked under the mentorship of a fully trained instructor. The entire experience was very pleasant and and, I did not have to wait a long time for my turn. Will definitely go again.

My first time and to be honest i do not think i will be returning or referr anyone. When you first walk in they tell you sign but do not explain what you are signing, i had to ask and she explained, that’s one.Two I feel that a teacher should be with the student at all times not just popping up. Three i paid for color and blow dry and the blow dry was terrible, i looked in the mirror and it looked like i towel dried my hair and the teacher came up and said aww nice. I looked like what? I just wanted to get out. Mind you i paid 76 for color and a messed up blow dry.I was suppose to get layers but per the teacher she said due to my type of hair if i cut it it will not give me the full look i am looking for so she did not recommend i cut so i didn’t and i was told by the student and teacher price would change maybe take off 15-19 but it only took 9.00 because it was originally 85.00 with what i originally wanted but since i did not get cut it went down to 76.00. We had level two girls but these girls did not seem confident.

I am beyond impressed with the haircut I got! I came in with a very bold request to cut multiple inches off and have some layers. I could not have asked for a better result! Definitely give them a try!

We were there from 1.30 to 5pm. My mother has dementia and is 85 years old. She was too sick to get her hair done for over 1 year. Her hair was a mess. I needed something easy to manage. The student dyed her hair and did a great job. She was a little clueless about what to do with the cut. I have been bald for 30 years. I couldn't explain well what we needed, but we needed short, feminine, and easy. After the cut, her hair was too long and she looked like George Washington with a wide part down the middle. I expressed my dissatisfaction. The teacher with a long black dress and long black hair told me that this is what my mother wants. I made it clear at the onset that she has dementia. The teacher did not care in the least that I was unhappy. She was rude to me and set a HORRIBLE example for the student. In the end, the owner cut mom's hair. Now it is short, easy to manage and wonderful. He listened to me and understood. I'm so grateful to him. Please coach the teacher on professionalism and how hard it is to be a caretaker for the elderly.

Wonderful experience! Everyone was polite and professional. This was my daughter's first salon experience and she was so happy with her hair cut. The stylist that worked on my hair understood what I was trying to achieve. She took the time while styling my shirt to show that I can pull off a short bob hairstyle with flair. Will definitely be coming back.

Everyone at Paul Mitchell were caring and helpful. My haircut was done with precision, my wig was styled beautifully and generally everything went well. Always, a lovely, happening atmosphere! As a senior, I was only disappointed how the prices went up.I guess I will have to stagger my visits and not come so often...Thank you, Paul Mitchell Salon for my experience!Deena ( Rubin)

My appointment was with Jasmine Coppola. She was extremely friendly, professional and polite. In addition, she explained what she was doing and why, as I am not only new to having acrilic nails, but having them removed as well (which was the appointment I booked). All in all, it was an excellent appointment!
