Don't use the car wash

I honestly can’t explain why I gave this gas station another chance. Pumps run unbelievably slow, which may be a faulty pump but can be a sign of dirty gas. Really slow, I’m talking minutes per gallon slow. I gave up on waiting after “three gallons”. My cars expected miles per gallon went up about one gallons worth. Did the car wash, car dried dirty. Went across the street and filled the car quickly.

Let me start by saying, if you’ve never shopped at Troy’s Mobil, you simply haven’t lived. This isn’t just a gas station—it’s a *lifestyle*. A status symbol. The Cartier of convenience stores. You don’t come here because you *need* gas or snacks; you come here to assert dominance.
Yes, I have remortgaged my house, and no, my kids will not be going to college, but can they say their dad casually bought a $78 Slim Jim and a $145 bottle of Dasani? Exactly.
Let’s talk about the bathroom experience, which is a microcosm of Troy’s Mobil’s ethos. First of all, there’s a $1 entry fee unless you’re actively purchasing items. Fair. This is not a bathroom for the riffraff. The stalls are made of what I’m *pretty sure* is imported Italian marble, though I must say, for a dollar, they could at least include a personal “bathroom attendant” to, you know, *help finish the job*. I’m not trying to overshare, but let’s just say the charcuterie board I had purchased earlier (a bargain at $150) didn’t sit well, and I found myself in dire straits. The toilet paper? Single-ply. For a place of this caliber, I was expecting Egyptian cotton. My exit strategy was *not* elegant, and frankly, I feel like Troy himself owes me an apology.
Now, let’s move on to the merchandise. I don’t come here for gas (at $4.29/gallon, it’s insultingly *reasonable*). No, I come for the $23 artisanal Pop-Tarts and $900 bottles of champagne casually stacked next to the windshield wiper fluid. Ever spent $1,200 on an off-brand Bluetooth speaker while waiting for your gas tank to fill? I have. And the thrill is unparalleled.
Shopping here is like being a member of a secret society. Every time you drop $75 on a bag of peanut M&M’s, you’re nodding to the other customers, silently saying, *“We are not like the others. We are Troy’s people.”* It’s like the gas station version of a country club, minus the golf carts but with a lot more Swarovski crystal-encrusted beef jerky.
The staff has this wonderfully condescending attitude, like they know you shouldn’t be able to afford to shop here. I once saw a man sheepishly trying to pay for a $300 Red Bull with quarters, and they *laughed* at him. That’s the kind of elite environment we’re talking about.
Do I regret spending thousands of dollars at Troy’s Mobil? Absolutely not. Sure, my car’s tank is empty, and my kids are learning to accept trade school as their destiny, but at least I have the *receipts*. Troy’s Mobil isn’t just a gas station—it’s a legacy.

Very disappointed. Open 24 hours? 10p doors locked and attendant inside just not doing anything. No service. No sale.

Disappointed in the counter employee attitude. Went in to the Mobil store on weekday morning to pay for gas in cash and get some items behind the counter. The single female employee sitting behind counter was looking on her phone and seemed annoyed that I was bothering her when I said excuse me. Then rudely said she couldn't hear me when I asked for items behind counter. When I spoke louder, she just gave a nasty look and smirked at me. Then said in quite rude matter, well is that it, when I was half way asking for items. Just paid for items I chose already and left. Won't be going to this Mobil store anymore. Plenty of other gas stations with friendlier staff and service.

There a woman who work there and she is very disrespectful and rude. They not want to communicate with me cause i’m deaf. Someone need to improve this place worker attitude better. They don’t have no patience at all. I don’t understand why they keep her. She got to go now

Do NOT USE CARWASH. I would give negative stars if possible. After entering the carwash and following the prompts to pull forward, the garage doors closed automatically in front and in back of me. The car wash never started. Instead, I was stuck inside for 10 minutes, repeatedly calling the gas station to let me out of the car wash, but no one was picking up the phone. When they finally picked up the phone and were able to unlock the door. I said thank you to the attendant who let me out. I would have thought she was say "you're welcome", or "I'm sorry you got stuck inside." Instead, she then blamed me for getting stuck inside. Immediately after my car was released, she let other customers get into the car wash because she was sure it was working fine.
