We've already sent BP an email regarding this location. I've never been verbally accosted in my life until I went to this gas station. Whoever refused to wash my car because you're homophobic and a terrible person, I pray you've found another job that makes you happy. Don't ever go here for anything other than self service to scrape bugs off your windshield.

Absolutely terrible, more likely to get robbed here than get gas. Enforce a no loitering policy or close up shop.

There isn't a giant selection of gas stations in certain parts of DC. This place is convenient if I am about to run out of gas and I didn't take the time to do it somewhere else. This isn't my first or second choice due to all of the weird people who loiter here. I don't even like taking the time to completely fill the tank since I don't want to spend that much time standing in this location. I wouldn't visit this location after dark.

This BP station has a terrible layout. What on earth were they thinking regarding this design? It's such a kerfuffle.

Although the prices aren't the cheapest here, I rate this a 4 because it is conveniently located right on Rhode Island Avenue and has two important access points--northbound traffic headed in the direction of Catholic University from 4th Street NE, which is a major street in this neighborhood (right turn into the gas station) and westbound traffic headed toward Bloomingdale, Shaw, and eventually Logan neighborhoods (also a right turn into the gas station). The others on Rhode Island Avenue have access points that require U-turns or are designed for travelers from other directions (such as northbound Florida Avenue NE traffic and travelers going eastbound toward the BW Parkway or Prince George's County).

Two stars because they had a better price than the other station which is why I went there, but poor rating because debit cards don't work at the pump...don't let me put my debit card in the automated credit card reader if you're not going to accept it--put a sign up and tell me to go to the cashier first! I don't want to waste my time while I'm pumping gas.
