The Defense Commissary Agency, also known as DeCA when abbreviated, is a United States Agency that operates under the Department of Defense. It has its headquarters in Fort Lee, Virginia. There are more than 245 commissaries located across the world. These American military commissaries are known to sell household goods, groceries and more to the Guard, Reserve, active duty and retired members of the different uniformed armed services. Eligible members of their families are also served. This saves customers, on average, well over 30 percent on these items when compared to what civilians end up paying.
