I absolutely hate dealing with this company every month. They lock me out and I have to call them and get my password reset I write it down so I know what it is and then next month I have to go through the exact same thing again they email you your account number that’s not even right and then they will never answer their emails back so you gotta call every time. I’ve never worked so hard to give someone my money The absolute worst company I’ve ever dealt with horrible place.

I own a caregiving company and I was here conducting business with one of my clients. I was waiting for my client to exit the bank and the whole entire time I was waiting for him to finish his business inside of the bank I was being harassed by a very large African American man(stating only for identification purposes)He came out of no where and was staring at me and my other employees who were with me. He made me feel very uncomfortable. I then continued to wait on my client to finish conducting his business in the bank and I see this very large African American man come into view again. I had no idea he was a security guard and at this point I started to fear for my safety. After about 15-20 minutes of waiting for my client to finish in the bank, my client finally exits the bank and that’s when this very large African American man says “You guys need to leave the parking lot, you have been out here too long.” I stated, “I am with him( the man who was just in the bank, I am leaving but I have to speak with my client before I leave here.” The security guard then was very rude and told us we needed to leave when we’re not doing anything wrong. I was scared for my life when I saw him approaching me for the 3rd time. Until he finally identified himself as a “security guard “. I will be filing a report and will be following through with this.

I tried to go become a member and the lady was so dismissive it was atrocious. It's called Dover FEDERAL credit union and she didn't even know that federal civilian employees are eligible. She also tried to say that the federal agency I work for was a state agency, which it very much is not. And I brought my federal ID. I'd give her grace and say she was new but she had a "20 years of service" plaque on her desk. You don't want good business fine. I'll happily go elsewhere. Especially knowing such incompetence works there I'd never want them to hold my money!

Poor customer service trying to get payoff for insurance company. Sit on hold for 1/2 hour when they just opened so they can’t be that busy. Stay away from getting any loans from these people. Especially car loans. They don’t even deserve one star.

I have been going through the most ridiculous auto loan process with them for the last nine months. I initially had a loan officer who emailed me regularly and then just stopped. I provided all of my documents to secure the loan application and I heard nothing back. After two weeks I went into the bank to figure out what’s wrong. “Oh she’s out with Covid and won’t be back for another week.” Okay… so I came back a week later, and found out she no longer works at the bank. So now I’m in limbo. I requested to speak to a manager because my application was going to expire if I didn’t complete it that day (it was Christmas week). Finally got the branch manager involved and he directed me to the assistant manager who I thought solved the problem. Signed all of my documents and gave any other required documents. Now fast forward to January 2022, I have a loan for the car! Awesome. I go to the DMV to get it registered and the DMV has nothing on the car other than the original owner (my father). Okay, so I relay the information. Went to the bank to figure out the next delay and I was told that it would take about 3-4 months till DFCU title company catches up on their backlog. I still checked twice a month with the DMV. Nothing. Now in may I went back into the bank to figure out the issue and they then tel me they have not received my title from the financing service my dad used. So I contact them only to find out that the title was sent out in January to the exact DFCU branch I’ve been going to. Now I request them to send it to my dads house so I can hand deliver it. I did. Now today 8/18/22 I walk into the DMV to register the car in my name and guess what… DFCU STILL HAS NOT SENT MY TITLE. So now another hour wasted inside the DMV, I go to DFCU to solve this issue. I’m furious about this whole thing. I sit down in the office with my THIRD loan officer and get told I need to redo all the paperwork that was initially signed and notarized. I was also told that the assistant Manager that “solved” this problem is no longer with the bank. Provide more documents to prove who I am in relation to my father as well as to start this process over again. The “notes” on file said they tried to contact me via email about the the missing information. So I checked my email and showed that I received nothing other than a reminder that a credit card bill was due. It’s been nine months and I’ve been treated horribly especially with my first car purchase. I will never utilize this bank ever again after this. Horrible service and DFCU should be ashamed.

Literally the worst place I've ever had to do any banking. I can't even get ahold of anyone to make payments, unless I physically go into the store. Calling in? Wait on hold for 45 minutes and it disconnects. Make a payment online? Nope nothing online actually works correctly. Actually find a human to talk to? Transferred and put on hold indefinitely. Try to use the automated teller? It asks for random numbers and codes that I don't even have for my account and puts me back on hold. I've had a loan through these guys for over a year and I don't honestly know if I've hated doing business with anyone else as much as Dover Federal Credit Union. Employees are nice in person, the company itself just sucks for customer service besides that.

Absolutely worst experience here. Had to cash a check for a customer of mine, she used a different bank than usual. So she asked me to drive to DFCU. Upon entering the drive thru, I read the sign and it said they do cashing. After a 10 minute wait I get told I have to come inside because I don't have an account with them. No problem, I figured that was the case for security anyway. 15 minutes of waiting to be seen by a teller just for them to take 15 minutes more after taking my ID and social card to tell me that there is a 5$ fee and it will take even longer. Worst bank experience ever.
