Sure the gifts are nice but a million dollar business like this that does not provide a rest room for customers is unsatisfactory. Therefore, one can assume that Float-ors is more concerned about making a buck than providing comfort for their customers. After spending several hundred dollars here, we asked to use the rest room prior to our long drive home. It was shocking that a gift facility of this size and magnitude did not provide a basic necessity for their customers. Shame on you Float-Ors management.

Have always loved the shop. But I’ve noticed quite the change in recent years, especially after the passing of the owner. Always loved the real Irish vibe, but alas not any more. Change is sad.

I hope you don’t have the need to go potty during your visit because they won’t let you and tell you not to even ask on the door! And then has the nerve to write no bad vibes on the door too. Terrible way to treat customers.

Omg what a great store. If you're looking for a coastal anything....they have it. Everything is beautiful and top quality. They even have a coastal Christmas section. Clothing gifts decor....it just went on and on. The store smelled so fresh and good, and the young man behind the counter was so super sweet and kind. I'd buy everything if I could!!! Thanks

I bought a hurricane candle from their website. It arrived broken - It was not packed very well. The day the box arrived, and everyday for the next 5 days, I tried to reach the store for assistance. 2 voicemails, multiple emails. No luck! I supposed they'll just ignore me, keep my $80 and hope I go away. Shoppers, beware of this store!

Very disappointed with how unfriendly and unhelpful the owner was to me. I received a gift with a gift receipt and when I went to exchange the gift I was told I could not as I was past the 30 days. I just received the gift (outside the 30 day window) and explained the situation. All I wanted to do was exchange and the items I had he admitted were still on their shelves. It seems illogical to run a family owned business this way. I will not be visiting them again.

Always love shopping here, so many unique items that make lovely gifts! The staff was polite and even helped me find a different size item when I was trying it on! I don’t understand the reviews about the return policy, its a rule?! I have returned a few things before to exchange size and I’ve never had trouble.

Closed all week. No listing on the website for changed hours and the item I was planning to purchase isn’t available online. Very disappointed.

My daughter and I shopped in store today. I have been going for years, but likely will not go back. They clearly have had shoplifting issues based on the security alarms that are now at every entrance, and that stinks for them. But we were just holding an item we were interested in purchasing and the door alarm kept going off (we were at least 5 feet away mind you). The woman behind the counter very rudely “offered” to hold it for us at the counter and her tone made it sound like she was suspicious of us. It was odd. I declined and put the item back. We then went upstairs where the Lilly and Barefoot section was. I felt like the employee up there was hovering and watching us. It was uncomfortable to say the least. I then took the item that I was going to purchase to the upstairs counter where the employee was standing and was informed that I needed to go back downstairs to pay…and he could carry my items for me. When I declined, he followed me downstairs and hovered until he saw us pay.We walked to the other building where we were completely ignored, not even a hello when we walked inside. It was nothing like it used to be. We used to have so much fun shopping at Float-oars but I’m afraid I will not be back. There really isn’t anything there that I can’t find at another small business or online.
