Tanner in the photo department is outstanding! He realized my photo order was printing in very low quality. Stopped my order, contacted me and walked me through using their online temples (after a few trials and errors due to the website itself), we found the perfect fit that printed beautifully! Tanner went above and beyond to make sure our photos were perfect!

The pharmacy goes above and beyond.

The two young women working at the pharmacy Drive thru were extremely rude. You would think they would know how to act towards the public , but I guess not

The best pharmacy staff I've ever had the pleasure of working with. Mr james laurin is so raw I couldn't believe it. He redefines what it means to be a pharmacist. On my mama you wont catch me at any other Walgreens.

I use the Alachua Walgreens. When we first moved to FL there were issues with transferring our Rx's as they became due. It was a pain - but NOT because of anything the staff (or Walgreens) were doing wrong. Some of these comments I have read ARE mean-spirited and inaccurate. First of all, whether it is CVS, Walgreens or Walmart - they are NOT McDonald's or Burger King with zippy service. People lives could be in trouble if they did not professionally fill and double-quality check the medication(s). Then, there are the bizarre rules of the insurance companies, copays, then, there are the government's payment plans and regulations which change all the time (e.g. opioid meds), In short, we as customers must understand that 99% of the drugs stores are VERY BUSY. Alachua is no exception. Be patient and maybe even try and be nice to the staff each time. I guarantee - service will be better if you are polite and remember they are people too.

I have a huge issue with this pharmacy and communication. A week ago, I went in person to request refills on three items. One medication, she was able to fill right away. The other medication, she stated my refill wasn't available until the 23rd (today). That's a bit strange because I'm taking slightly below the prescribed amount, so I should have already been due, but okay. The third item is pen needles. I was told I was out of refills, to which I replied that it wasn't a problem. I was pretty sure that I usually bought them at MSRP (minus Walgreens discount) because my insurance didn't provide much assistance. I asked if I could please just purchase them. I was very plainly told that no, I needed more refills available. This was different from every other visit, so I confirmed with two employees. I left without the needles. Fast-forward to today, and I just called in the refill for the injectable (I was right; I actually was short on my dose last night and would have been in major trouble if I'd been taking the prescribed amount). I also spoke to another technician who told me they'd been trying to contact my doctor for refills on the pen needles without success. I said I really needed the needles to go with my injectable medication. She put me through to the pharmacist, who seemed very puzzled. "Well you can just buy them, if you need to, without the refill we just can't put it through your insurance." NO. KIDDING. So a week of bumming the wrong-sized pen needles from my dad, and finally they realize I can buy the needles on my ownsome. I will also very easily contact my doctor through work, and get the refill straightened out (maybe Walgreens could have called or texted to let me know there was a problem? nahhhh). It's going downhill fast here.

The pharmacy staff is so frustrating to work with. One staff member tells you one thing and is very helpful and encouraging. Then you go back and it's a whole different staff and they contradict what the other staff told you.

I am a cancer patient and I submitted my prescription to the pharmacy clerk who took my license, script and scanned it into their computer. This was for a CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE..Pain.

Not very friendly staff. Waited at the pharmacy pick up window for 10 minutes until we received help. Not professional at all.

I had blood work done here. The phlebotomist was very rude and passive aggressive. You'd think someone working in the medical field would at least TRY to make the patients feel comfortable. She did the bare minimum.

I will be using Walgreens pharmacy from now on. I had my son's prescriptions sent to Walgreens at first, then changed to CVS when refilling because it's closer to my house. CVS had the prescriptions for 5 days and still said they were having a problem with getting the insurance to approve them. Walgreens was able to fill it the first time without issue. With my son almost out of meds, I asked Walgreens to have CVS transfer the prescriptions back to them. That was at around 4pm, and they were ready when I called at 9-ish the next morning. Walgreens Pharmacy staff is competent and professional; and that's why I'll be going there from now on.

Your robot operator just sends people to a dead end. I know the pharmacy is closed. Extremely 😞. Going to walmart they answered my questions. Black hole robo answering machine waste of time.

this is the worst pharmacy in the area. I refilled my prescriptions using their app which indicated valid refills. on my way home from work i called and they said i didn't have any refills. so i went into the walgreens with my phone and showed them the app. They say Oh you have 3 refills. we can fill this in 15 minutes. that was 45 minutes ago. They had one person working the drive up and in store traffic and obviously overwhelmed. Finally they send someone to help her. I am next in line as I write this. oh and this is not the first time.

The pharmacy is rude and never have enough people. My prescription is never together and have to wait 10 mins just to be acknowledged.

Pharmacy is terrible! I am only with them because of my insurance. You turn in a prescription and one person will tell you one date, you call that date and another person will tell you no you have to wait another day! Are you serious? Every time I deal with this place I end up with a headache because my blood pressure shoots up sky high! I have only encountered ONE PROFESSIONAL person there and she isn't even a pharmacist! Her name is Erica! Can't wait for January so I can go back to CVS!!!

I like the customer service but their products are usually over priced. Come when they have sales on the thing you want.

I had a great experience at the Walgreens location in Alachua, not only the personal is very friendly but they have an awesome Manager named Amanda. I was driving my two little guys completely fast asleep, I was by my self ( I didn't wanted to leave them in the car unattended), went to the drive trough and the pharmacist was so nice that she called the manager to assist me because I needed teething gel and Ibuprofen and she didn't have access to it. Amanda was very nice, friendly and patient with me. I want to acknowledge the great service that I got from the pharmacist and from the Manager Amanda.
Thank you all at the Walgreens in Alachua, and I strongly recommend shopping at this location :)
