Kathy Karkenny provided excellent service at my last visit to this credit union. She took her time to walk me through the beginning process of finding a vehicle and explained my options. She showed so much patience and was happy to guide me in the right direction with my particular questions. She is such a gem. I felt so seen and happily recommend her!

I've been with this institution for decades - IBMSECU and now iThink. I could not ask for a better Credit Union. My houses over the years have been purchased by mortgages that went smoothly, and we wrapped up paying our car off recently. I will continue to use iThink as my primary lender, they are simply the best. Great customer service, and good people.

For some reason I thought credit unions were all about the members. At this bank very important information was left out during an SBA loan process that took me 2.5 months and 60 hours of paperwork to discover two important facts that could have been shared much earlier. They tried to slip a commitment letter through for signature without discussing the details. Thank goodness I caught it and shredded the offer. I am thankful I only lost 60hrs and 2 months.

Here is a summary of my experience with ithink financial and why I will no longer be banking with this institution:1. I was a legacy customer from the IBM credit union and after that it became a mess.2. Customer service is always a disaster. I have been given incorrect information- like how to retitle a vehicle in another state.3. The Ads are absolutely ridiculous. Every time I call iThink financial, they deploy lotteries for members to engage in which sound more like a sleezy loan/finance opportunity to engage with.4. They have increased my interest rate because my insurance expired, then next day my insurance kicked in, but they used that one day gap as a way to automatically charge an additional $1200 to my loan amount.5. Their loan officers utilize a loan calculator that sure has a financial basis in providing rough estimates on interest rates founded in the market, but none of them are able to provide any additional support for long term customers.6. I have continually needed to include a supervisor as this bank does not employ individuals with a financebackground.7. run

So I have been a customer with them for a long time. I do have 1 mortgage with them and savings and checking accounts.Doing business with them is exceedingly hard. They make it so very hard.Two examples:- I get monthly check deposited in an account. Every month, same account, same amount. Yet, they failed multiple times to deposit the check in the correct account, even though the proper account number is printed in LARGE letters on it. Unexplainable.- Going on vacation? Want to take your ATM card with you? Be prepared for fun with the bank... Listen to this: So they want you to write and hand-sign a letter to them, explaining your travel dates, which atm card you will be taking with you and sign it. Oh you must also include a copy of your ID and mail it to them.Again, they make it VERY difficult to continue doing business with them...

We have been members for over 25 years and really appreciate the excellent staff and great services. Ping was super sweet and saved us some treats from customer appreciation day. Plus they offer fun contests and other events to make us feel like family. Also we got a great auto loan that the dealer couldn’t beat. We like that it’s never too crowded and are helpful with our kids accounts. I just wish the website and app were more user friendly and had better features.

Worst. Banking. Experience. Ever. My family has been using this bank since the IBM Federal Credit Union days. My elderly father and I drove from Tampa to Boca Raton to take care of some business, change names on accounts, etc. They treated us like we were bothering them. Then they said they would call us back once everything was updated. (They never called back, and they never updated anything, so we essentially drove about 8 hours round trip for nothing.)I'll be closing all accounts at the bank ASAP. Do not waste your time with this bank. The bad reviews are spot on.

This bank is antiquated. Monthly fees, buggy app, constant overdraft fees (when there's plenty in savings,) pretty much no ATMs which increases fees, and God forbid your card is used fraudulently; you have to jump through hoops to get it corrected!My husband and I are closing our accounts as they just can't compete. Do your research there are some great options these days.

I was a member of IBM for the last 15 years… As soon as I think took over it has been nothing but a nightmare. I would not recommend doing any loans through this company! Nobody knows what’s going on and you will be on hold for hours at a time. I’m pulling on my account from here after 15 years.

This bank is so rude and unhelpful . I worked so hard to fix my credit like they advised me to do for them to give me a lousy 500$ credit card increase .. my credit went from a 550 to a 705 . . I needed new tires for my truck that cost a little of 1,000$ my credit card limit is 1,000$ and the reason they wouldn’t increase my limit was due to previous utilization of my credit card however I was never late on a payment ..( when I first got my 500$ credit card I was not educated on how to properly use it but once I was I quickly corrected it) so the underwriter informed my Banking lady that she will not give me a increase for my credit card and to max out my card and buy my tires bc I’ll only be paying out of pocket 100$. Wait so your telling me how to spend my money ? And your telling me to max out my card you just increased haha. This bank is a JOKE AND if it wasn’t for my relationship with the staff at my branch I’d have a lot more to say. This was the most discouraging thing that has happened to me finically. I spent 8,000$ of my hard working money to fix my credit and then this happened. You’d think at a time like this they’d be way more helpful but NO

At times like this you would expect everyone to come together and try and help and be friendly with each other. The manager of this branch has been the exact opposite. I came to endorse checks that I received from my insurance company to a property I sold and no longer own (and therefor IBMSECU or iThink now) doesn't own as well. The first day I drove there (35 min each way), I was told the manager isn't here, and the manager on duty doesn't have the keys to the stamp (What???). So I came back the next day, and after sitting for 40 min in the drive through I was told that I can only deposit the check in my account there after my wife endorses it at her bank since they have a lien on the house. I tried explaining that it's impossible to have a lien on a house that I no longer own, but he could care less. Luckily I spoke earlier with Mary the branch manager at Cypress, who listened to me and made sure that everything gets cleared out. I saw in the parking lot for around 2 more hours (yes you heard me right) and finally drove back and got the checks ... endorsed. The manager not only did not offer an apology but also seems like he still doesn't care about anything. So Mr. Neil Lawson shame on you, and at times like this the true faces of people come out. You might have worked your way up to corporate latter while things were good but I hope that management reads this and know your true face. I would never recommend anyone coming to your branch, and I hope that people will treat you better than you treat them. Sitting for hours at the drive through I saw more cases of older people getting miss-treated, and just awful behavior all around.

Where do I begin huhhh. This credit union capitalize and stole money from me when a vendor UBER took advantage of having my acct info and charged rides I nevr took charged 3 different cards the same ride etc etc I had a legit dispute they denied no explanation when its OBVIOUS what this vendor done I complained outside they closed my acct and stole money from my payroll and soc disability ain't that DIRTY LOW DOWN !
