My wife and I needed to buy a car. We were going to be vacationing in Florida and I suggested I look around for a Miata or VW Cabrio - she agreed, thinking it wouldn't happen. To make a long story a bit shorter I found a 12 year old Miata at John's and had a very positive experience. Someone else was trying to buy the car and he would not sell it to me until the other person's loan was denied (I had cash). He allowed me to take the car to Winter Park to have another mechanic inspect it (it was approved by the mechanic with flying colors). He completed the paperwork quickly and efficiently and thoroughly explained what I would need to do to re-register the car in Maryland and have Florida refund the sale tax.
My wife and I cancelled our return flight and drove our new (used) 12 year old Miata home non-stop to Maryland the next day. Nine years and about 100,000 miles later, I am still daily driving my Miata. I never thought I'd buy a car from a used car lot, but the experience with John's was all positive. Every once in a while I check to see what he has for sale and decided to leave this review.

STAY AWAY! My husband bought a car from this place in February. The car now requires $4,000 worth of maintenance work due to a break fluid leak and not having a functioning AC. Avoid this place at all cost. Not worth it!!

They seem very nice.BUT within four months of buying the truck, I had to get new tires due to tire rot, and the transmission has failed. It’s going to cost what the truck is worth to get it on the road again…4 months after I bought it.

John and his wife seemed very nice at first. Mom and pop type place. We were there for a while looking at a couple vans with our 3 small children. We discussed on Saturday night that we would like to purchase a vehicle and they quoted us $5300 which seemed reasonable. They are closed on sunday and we had already kept them past closing, so we told them we only had $3500 in hand but would come monday to pay the rest all in cash. They agreed. I called them right at opening (10am) that monday and John told me the van was still there. I told him my fiance got off at 1:30 and we were going to come cash in hand to purchase that afternoon but that we would like to pay to have a mechanic come with us to pre check the car since it had no warenty and had a little issue starting at first. He agreed saying we could bring anyone we wanted and that it was perfectly fine.I called back at 2:15 telling them I was on the way and they chamged their whole demeanor saying they sold it amd someone had given them a $200 deposit (and they repeatedly mentioned how didn't need a mechanic) just then and we couldn't buy it anymore. They never mentioned to us when we told them how we had $3500 that sat night that we could leave a deposit. When I asked the lady why she didn't mention she said you onoy get it if you ask and we didn't ask...Pretty much we feel that they wouldn't sell to us because we asked to have the vehicle inspected. RED FLAG!! What are you hiding trying to sell people cars without letting them make sure everything is honest?! Would not recommend.

Dishonest couple. Nice at first then lied to us and failed to communicate with each other then blamed us for it. Said they would sell us a car and then sold it out from under us When we asked to bring a mechanic.

After getting into a car accident, having a rental car for 2 weeks and even extending my rental more so I was looking for a vehicle to buy and was having such a hard time looking doing so. The cars I looked at were either from auctions, damaged in some way or too over priced from true value and not in my budget. I came across 'John's Motors Inc.' on Cargurus (a reputable vehicle search website anyone can trust) and noticed a 2005 Hyundai Sonata with original 61,223 miles on it. So I called them about it asked to apply for financing over night via email and was approved. I went to John's Motor Inc and spoke with the owner John and his wife Emil (whom are from Greece) about purchasing the car and they were so nice, kind, patient, honest and helpful. John's Motors Inc dealership in Casselberry FL has been around for about 40 YEARS now, that has to tell ya something, they're in good business! Needless to say I bought the car which has NO accidents, clean title, no problems, mechanical/ electrical works fine, no smoke, 61,223 original miles on it, FOR A 2005 HYUNDAI, WOW! HOLY SMOKES! And a great price which was a lil over $4,900. I'd say I got lucky and glad I came here. Thanks to John and Emil at John's Motors inc for helping me so I can buy a car and thanks again for understanding and treating me with respect. You're AWESOME!

I purchased a vehicle from John and his wife and really enjoyed their company and customer service. John has 40yr+ experience at this location and provided a confidence and trustworthy experience that I greatly appreciated. They both are very nice people and a pleasure to do business with. The process to purchase was smooth. This is a good, honest dealership which is extremely rare to find anymore. And, they offer no dealership fees! A+

Bought a first vehicle for my son. John gave me a decent price for the vehicle, no complaints there. It gets much better!!When I bought the vehicle it had a broken passenger side mirror. John said ohh I’ll fix that. I have one ordered and he will send to me. Well he sent it to me alright... First off the wrong mirror, 2nd. a junk yard mirror, 3rd. It was broken. When I questions to him about it being a wrong mirror he said I should have just drove back to Orlando? Why?? To put broken, and incorrect parts on a vehicle. No thanks!!Buyers beware...
