Don’t ever use this company! Broke just about all my furniture which I had to donate to the thrift store. As soon as you sign on site to begin the move, they are not liable for any damages. So very sad the workers don’t even care. Don’t ruin your day or your move!! Pick another company.

Avoid This Company at All Costs
I hired Big Boys Moving to relocate a treadmill, and the entire experience was a disaster. The movers arrived appearing inexperienced with disassembly, causing visible damage to a wall/door frame and gouging bamboo flooring. They acknowledged the damage but left tools and packing materials behind, forcing a return trip to retrieve them and take photos.
The strong smell of marijuana coming from the movers was extremely unprofessional. The job ran past the two hours scheduled only because of their own mistakes—yet they still charged me for extra time and even add a gratuity for their poor service.
When I booked, I was told in writing there would be no trip or fuel fees, but they tried to bill me for those too. This company was dishonest, careless, and unprofessional from start to finish.
Save yourself the headache—hire literally anyone else.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. PAY ATTENTION TO ALL THESE REVIEWS, THEY ARE ALMOST IDENTICAL IN THEIR DISHONEST PRACTICES. Shelby Torres gives you a quote over the phone. Shelby advises your phone call is being recorded. For me I was happy to be on a recorded line in case there was a discrepancy. However the recording is only for their benefit; they can lie and mislead you.On the recorded line, Shelby said "other" moving companies charge hidden fees and they don't; that's what sets them apart. I wanted to be clear and asked Shelby, if my move takes 2 hours my total would be $387, but if it went to 3 hours I would not pay more than $516. Shelby said that is correct. DO NOT TRUST ANYONE AT THIS COMPANY! My move only took 2 hours. But when the job was complete the time the mover was told by the office to put down was exaggerated. I refused to sign and told the movers that is more than I was quoted. He said if I didn't sign he'd lose his job. At that point, I signed the paperwork, the office would realize their mistake and issue a credit, right? I mean we were on a recorded line where Shelby confirmed my total.Since they don't answer the phone on Saturday, I sent a text letting them know there was a billing mistake. Monday morning, my calls went unanswered and no return calls. After leaving a message that I would dispute the charges is when I received a nasty email. They stated they reviewed their paperwork, and their amounts were correct even though they were not the same as the quoted amount. This company advertises that they are the movers you can trust. They are anything but trustworthy!I have tried everything to work with them to amicably resolve this matter. I felt I should only pay $387; but in the spirit of compromise I offered to pay $516. The only argument they have is you signed the paperwork. The quote means nothing. The move cost me $809.

Showed up early, measured the appliances and said they didn't think they would fit through the back door. I offered to open the front double doors. I was waiting at the door for them to start and they literally drove away and then called to tell me they would not be proving the service and charged my card $295 for 15 mins. I hired one person recommended from U-Haul and we had the appliances through the back door in one hour. BEWARE. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. READ THE REVIEWS AND HIRE SOMEONE ELSE.

Beware of this moving company as they have undisclosed charges that they will surprise you with after the move is complete. Initially, we were quoted a reasonable price of approximately $500 for moving our 2-bedroom apartment into a storage unit. However, when we received our bill, it showed an unexpected amount of $800. Despite reaching out to the company via email and getting no response, we were finally able to speak to someone over the phone. The lady we spoke with referenced extra charges in the fine print that were not previously disclosed to us, which we found to be very deceitful. To make matters worse, the movers arrived two hours late, and the company claimed they had given us a range of arrival times between 12 pm and 3 pm. While the move went relatively smoothly, it was still disappointing to have to deal with hidden fees and poor communication.Overall, we were left with a negative impression of this moving company and would not recommend them to anyone. Moving is already stressful enough without having to worry about unexpected expenses and a lack of transparency.

Big boys moved me on 4/1 Showed up 5 hours late, no communication at all. I called over 20 times, left voicemails and emailed. I had done a lot of the moving of the smaller items myself so that way they could could load and go because I didn't want to be moving until midnight. I repeatedly told them that my furniture was from RH and to be very careful because it was only a year old and that didn't matter because they damaged my furniture so bad. My coffee table was unwrapped and stood up and pushed along the concrete, my one dresser the mirrors are cracked from them and my other dresser was only wrapped in plastic wrap and they scrapped that along the concrete and asphalt ruining the entire top, several of the drawers and put two holes in the bottom. The guy was so rude that called to collect payment. I asked for discount for their lack of communication and for having to move a lot of the stuff myself with my friend and refused and then told me he wouldn't have them unload the truck until I paid l. It was 10pm at night and was in no mood to argue. He told me to email all of the pictures of the damaged furniture over and they'd be in touch. I've called several times sent so many emails to all the email addresses and not one reply or call back. DO NOT HIRE

They showed up on schedule, got to work right away, and successfully relocated us across town. We were really impressed with Anthony and Eric, our movers, because they were attentive, courteous, and efficient. They helped us relocate out of a townhouse despite having to deal with big items and tricky staircases. Price points were reasonable and in line with the market. That's why I'd hire them again in a heartbeat!

My company in Florida has hired Big Boys Moving and Storage on numerous occasions, both large and little. In every aspect, from initial scheduling to final cleanup, they have excelled. The guys show there on time, are pleasant, and work in a methodical and patient manner. I simply cannot praise these highly enough!

Worst company ever. The movers were incompetent - it took 1 hour to get together a bed and another 1/2 hour to put a mirror on a dresser. I had to have someone fix what they did. I had 2 broken TVs and was missing many items. When contacting Big Boys, they advised they had pictures of boxes which I signed for and would not do anything. They broke a treadmill as well as many fragile items as they just unloaded boxes on top of each other. They advised I signed the paperwork saying I received everything. How would I know until I unpacked? How would I know something was broken? Their customer service is reprehensible.Use ANYONE ELSE!!!!!

Stay far away from this company. What I have experienced is completely unprofessional and unlike any experience I have had with a moving company in the past. * Movers showed up over 2 hours late. The drive to my house took over an hour longer then quoted with no explanation. (I was paying an hourly rate)* Movers showed up with Uhaul truck, not a truck showing Big Boys moving as expected. The two men did not seem to know anything about Big Boys moving policies, procedures, quotes, etc. * They argued with me over having to wrap my furniture as it would take them longer and they were told they only had to pick up a few items.* The did not have the 6 wardrobe boxes or boxes for my 2 tvs and exercise mirror that I was promised. They had 4 pre-used uhaul wardrobe boxes that were falling apart.* All of my items did not fit in the truck. I asked them to make sure all furniture was in there but they refused saying they would come back to help me if I rented a UHaul truck and paid they outside of the company.* They took 2 hours longer than me to drive to the house I was moving to. I asked why it took them 6 hours and it only took me a little less then 4 and they could not explain.* They refused to move the items into the rooms of my home telling me that if I wanted that they would come back 2 days later and I could pay them outside of the company.* I was forced to sign a document at the end of the move to stop the clock. I was told I had 30 days to file any claims for damaged or missing items. The claims I put in were declined and I was told I signed a paper stating that everything was there and in acceptable condition. * I have asked for copies of everything I signed, and the company refuses to send me copies. The papers I do have say I have 30 days to report damages or missing items.* I left messages at Big Boys moving the morning after the move trying to explain my situation and get help moving the rest of my belongings, but no one would answer the phone or return my messages.* The movers kept the legs to my sofa. I then was forced to meet them in Plant City to get them back.* Most of my furniture has scratches and pieces missing. The only items I put in claims for are a TV that something was placed on and no longer works, a fitness mirror that was shattered and a new thermostat as they broke the NEST thermostat off the wall when they were arguing about taking a sofa down the stairs. I had to have someone install an new thermostat and this delayed the closing on my house by 1 day.* 15-16 hour quoted move took over 21 hours. I was charged for more hours and the company will not send me any information on how many hours I was charged for.

I booked these guys for my move yesterday 8/3. I had read all the reviews and they were really good. Well my experience was not great. When I first gave my inventory list they told me it would take 3-4 hours to complete and there would be two guys with a 26' box truck. Ok cool. I budgeted for an extra hour just in case (cause things happen). They showed up at 2:30 to my first floor, one bedroom apartment that was right next to the parking lot. Took them 3 hours just to load my stuff (which I had less of than my orig. inventory list). Ok fine. My new place was just under hour away since we're now leaving during rush hour. I get to my new place about 6:15p and I'm just waiting for them. Over an hour I waited with no phone call, no text. It's now 7:30p and they still aren't at the new place. I called the office 3 times before someone picked up and they told me they had a flat tire and would be there soon. They finally show up, takes another 4 hours to unload everything. They weren't that careful with my stuff, boxes were torn and damaged. The truck was horribly dirty because the boxes are covered in black greasy grime. Luckily nothing was broken. They didn't charge me for the extra hour they took to fix the tires, but I was still charged for 7 hours plus their service charge (which is an additional hour, so 8 hours total when I was told it would take 3-4). I caught them both on their phones multiple times. It really felt like they were trying to drag it out just to get more money. I would not recommend this moving company, I was not impressed at all.

ZERO STARS!!! I used Big Boys Moving and Storage 6/29 to move my items out of a storage unit into my home. During the process, the employees of Big Boys Moving and Storage damaged the banister at the top of my staircase. The employee missed the last step and fell, causing the banister to fall, cracking the entire top of the banister. He assured me it would be fixed and apologized for the damage. I contacted the company and spoke with Shelby. She initially told me I need to file a claim with my homeowners insurance for the damage that the company caused. I explained that I was not doing this, the company should take care of the repair or it should be covered under the company's insurance. Shelby then forwarded me to "customer service department" who was going to take the information. This was back in JUNE!! I sent pictures of the damage (on July 13) that was requested from Brittany in the customer service department. I have sent multiple emails, and have yet to get a response on getting the damage fixed. I see all of these great reviews and they are obviously review from people that didn't have "ACCIDENTS" THAT UNFORTUNATELY HAPPEN. But if you hire this company and have your home or items damaged...GOOD LUCK!!! Do not hire them. I also paid them close to a thousand dollars for a local move so they are not cheap. If you are paying top dollar, you should be working with a professional company that values the customer. I have spent 6 weeks trying to get a resolution, and still nothing.. anyone that has any advice, it is greatly appreciated!!

Please don't use this company. I was told one price and quote via telephone by Shelby and sent a confirmation on it. The crew arrived 4 hours later and nearly broke everything they touched. The company's supervisor or manager was pathetically unprofessional and only out for the money. My experience was very similar to those who posted their experiences already. VERY disappointed and out of $1200.00 for incomplete moving services and broken items such as a fish tank, piano (under 300ibs), 70' inch smart TV. Be WARE OF WHAT YOU SIGN!!!!!

I can't speak for the service however the drivers of the trucks are dangerous. 3 trucks at wawa pulling out, 2 of which were in front of me slowly driving to the exit, when the 3rd truck proceeded to quickly drive up beside me as he used the company truck to try to push me out of the way as if I wasn't there. I have a truck with a trailer following the 2 other company trucks in line to exit wawa, when this driver proceeded to drive the company truck beside me pushing my truck and trailer out of the way in the parking lot and out through the exit on to us19 almost swiping the front end of my truck. He was making sure he stayed with the other 2 trucks no matter if he hit another vehicle or not. He was willing to do whatever it took to drive me out of the way. Not really the type of people I would hire to move my personal belongings. If he cant respect a company vehicle as well as others vehicle in public to the point of purposely risking an accident do you think he'd respect your stuff? Called the office but I'm sure he will only get a talking to.

Big Boys Moving & Storage Company Movers were amazing - simple and quick to book, accurate and reasonable quotes, and the movers were professional, fast, and took exceptional care with our items. They went the extra mile, with little touches like making sure our boxes labeled "Open First!" were visible and easy to find, making sure we had easy access to lightbulbs, and double-checking with us on every item that seemed fragile. Best moving experience we've ever had!
