Paid rent on time 5 years. After we put in our 30 day notice, Carol who was pleasant to deal with before the notice became rude and hostile. Did not return email or phone messages about the notice with me but followed up with my wife and stated we would be out in 3 days if we didn't pay some $300 we owed. Pretty much threatening my family.

I contacted this realty company and spoke with Sheila about a rental and explained in great detail that I had good income, good rental history but bad credit. I was very candid and explained the details of my credit and told Sheila that I was not interested in wasting either of our time or my money so if the credit was going to be an issue, then I wouldn't even apply. She told me to go ahead and apply and that she would look at my application and would refund me if she saw anything that looked like I would get denied. Of course, I was denied. IMMEDIATELY denied. I have been texting her for a week now reminding her that she said this, but of course they have no intention of refunding me my $100 dollars in application fees. I have never expected nor asked for an application fee refund. It is common knowledge that rental application fees are nonrefundable. HOWEVER, since she explicitly told me before applying that she would refund it, this time is different. It was a really terrible thing to do to someone who is in a desperate situation to move. I was extremely honest and forthcoming about our situation and the bottom line is, she lied. So I would be extremely careful doing business with this company.
