Childcare network in DFS has been a great place for my youngest daughter to go. I am a mother of 3, my youngest daughter coming into our life at my age of 40 and my husband’s age of 45 was a surprise to our family because of the 12 year different between my second child and now my youngest who is 1. Entrusting the ladies at Childcare Network in DFS was hard at first because entrusting your child to everyone that isn’t family is hard, we can all say that; however; since the first day my youngest started going there when she was 8 wks old, I have felt a relief knowing that the ladies at this childcare network are taking care of my baby like she was their very own.

We need to raise these ratings. The staff here is amazing. As a foster parent I have been bringing my kids here 1 1/2 yrs. We have had 2 kids start here at the age of 9 months and 4 yrs. Now they are helping with potty training and so much more. Each staff member has helped with emotional and behavioral ups and downs (me included lol). Let me say, this facility is my rock. Each one of them treat my kiddos like extended family. They have cared and loved them as much as I could ever hope someone else would. Do they need raises?! Heck yes!! I am sure that would help with the staff shortage we see at times. Even then… I wouldn’t change my kids 2nd home for anything!! My almost 2 yr old especially would be sad without her Abby, Bethany, Courtney, Jessica, Ashley and many more. 🤭 Keep up the love my faves!! Thanks for caring!!

My great granddaughter has been going to Childcare Network DFS for 3 years. There has been a noticeable posituve change in the atmosphere since leadership at our location changed. We LOVE Director Jessica, AD Courtney and all of the teachers who have cared for and continue to care for our little one. They greet us every morning with smiles as our little one goes skipping to her classroom and she gives them hugs every afternoon on the way out. She knows that she is loved here. That makes our hearts happy.

My son has been going here for 3+ years, I would absolutely continue to have him here if we weren’t moving. I will forever recommend this daycare to anyone who asks me! The teachers & director are some of the sweetest & most caring people you’ll ever meet. My son leaves daycare happy and always tells me he had a good day. From my personal experience with other daycares in the area, you want your kid to go here, trust me!

My 6 and 9 year old have been attending this school since they were 6 months and 3.5 yrs. Ms. Courtney and Mrs. Jessica love my boys like they are family. I trust that with them running the school, my kids will always be safe and taken care of!

Honestly, this place needs better reviews. I think people only leave reviews when they are upset. (Maybe having a staff incentive would help). But I am extremely pleased with this daycare. My 3yo goes here and her behavior from the last daycare has completely changed! Her behavior has gotten better, she actually wants to go, and she is so much better with potty training. The place is clean and her teacher LOVES her job, she is is so enthusiastic and I very much appreciate the staffs friendliness and her teachers enthusiasm. 10/10 would recommend despite these reviews.

Avoid this company the defuniak springs director just told my wife she could of been written up for the 5 days she took off when her m9m passed 3 weeks ago. Even though the company offers bereavement. This is me speaking as a husband this company is evil

In the process of getting my baby registered for daycare. On 08/18/23, I called to inquire about what else I needed to do to make sure my child was on the waiting list. After being put on hold, I was answered by the director of the daycare. I asked, again, what else I needed to do to assure my child was on the waiting list. She spoke in a very, unprofessional, argumentative and unapologetic manner saying that I didn’t pay the registration fee which I thought was $60. She then went on to argue that it was $100, which is no problem for me. When I addressed her tone and asked her why she was talking to me in such a manner she said Courtney told her I said my baby was supposed start on August 24th, which I did not. How could I put that in YOUR system? The director was the one who gave me the tour and gave me the information I needed to get started. I don’t understand how a simple question and follow up turned into me being disrespected. I didn’t demand to be moved up on the list or ask her to put me in front of other people. I just wanted to make sure I had a spot on the list. She apologized after I had to correct her, but I could tell she wasn’t sincere. She continued to talk to me in a condescending manner stating that even after I payed the $100 registration fee, that the I would have to to pay the full price if my ELC grant wasn’t approved yet. I didn’t ask her that. Another assumption. If I have to pay full price for a little that would be no issue.Moral of the story, if you are a director of a childcare facility, hold yourself with some, tact and professionalism when speaking with potential customers and parents of the children you are caring for. Your behavior is a direct example of how you run this company’s business. You shouldn’t speak or act in a way that would be harmful to the business. I hope you do better in the future, because that was a very negative interaction and I don’t want my child to be affected because you had a negative reaction to a simple question.

We already pay $1400 a month with the current rates my babies room is going up $60 that’s ridiculous I’ve tried calling corporate multiple times but no one will answer we have no other option but the pull both of our kids out because the prices are going too high

Child sat on the waiting list and was number 2 on the list. Called today 6/14 to be told my child was bumped to number 4 due to other families already paying the registration fee. I was told by someone that I couldn't pay the registration fee until a spot came open. Withdrew my application for my son, this is ridiculous and poor customer service.

My child started VPK there in August 2021 and we have been sick ever since. (I have an 11 year old, a 5 year old and an infant). The daycare has been through 3 directors in 6 months, the teachers are very nice, but they seem understaffed and teachers come and go. I wished for her VPK experience to be a better one, but there was no openings available elsewhere. We are thinking of taking her out completely due to chronic illness my family seems to keep suffering.
