—NEGATIVE 100 STARS—
Absolutely HORRIBLE company. DO NOT USE!!! Problems from the very beginning!! Driver did not call til he was sitting in front of my house (was told it’d be a 30 minute heads up), driver did not level the container (was told it’d be leveled and he used 2 pieces of wood) - I had to level it with a piece of wall decor (the only thing I could find that was the right size), otherwise unit wouldn’t continued to titter totter while loading it, I had to flag down the driver and ask him for my lock/key that I paid for. Then they were scheduled to pick up my full container on the following Tuesday, hadn’t heard anything so I called them at 2:10pm (EST) and was told I was next on the pickup schedule and someone would be there between 2:30-6:30. 6:30 rolls around, no one showed so I called back and was then told someone tried to call me at 1:49pm (so before I called in at 2:10 and was not told they tried to call) but since someone supposedly called and I didn’t answer, they skipped my pickup. I never received a phone call (hence why I called them at 2:10 to check up on pick up). So then I was told pickup would be the following morning between 8:30-12:30 - 12:30 rolls around, no one came. I called back yet again - was told it’d now be around 4:30 for pick up. They FINALLY came and got it but the driver made sure to leave the pieces of wood the previous driver used to halfway “level it” laying in my driveway - that was such a nice gift 🙄. Then they delayed my delivery to my new house 2 times - delaying it by 5 days. 5 extra days without our furniture. Then I scheduled them to pick up the empty container on Saturday (2 days after delivery) because at this point, I’m sick of dealing with this terrible company - and they didn’t show to pick it up AGAIN. I called in and they again claimed I was called and didn’t answer (neither I nor my husbands phone, who is also listed on the account so they have both phone numbers, were ever called!) so they again skipped me. Even though my account with them says DO NOT SKIP. They lie and claim they call and no one answered just so they can do whatever they want!! We were even told by the driver that dropped off to our new home that we don’t have to be home, they’ll just come get it. And the empty container is STILL sitting in my driveway! So to recap - this company is USELESS, full of liars and will certainly take your money but will NOT ONE TIME do what they say or what’s agreed upon. They will ruin your moving experience and make it 100x’s more stressful!! DO NOT USE THIS TERRIBLE COMPANY!!

Use them! This is our 7th move in as many years and we always use 1-800-Pack-Rat. This time we had A LOT of 📆 changes and 📞 called them a lot. Each time they made a point of telling me the plan. I was SO pleased and felt confident everything was taken care of. We ❤️ loved that the containers have 🚪 doors vs the roll down door. We can pack right the the edge and know we can open it.

Great overall experience!
I used Pack Rat for my recent local move. Scheduling was simple and efficient, all completed online. I called once to confirm and the customer service rep did well. Everything was clearly communicated. I appreciated that the drivers called ahead to let me know when they were arriving— about 30-40 minutes ahead of arrival.
The delivery team was excellent. Despite having a short driveway with pavers, the driver was skilled and maneuvered the truck and storage container. He was professional and knew what he was doing. Most importantly, they took extra care not to damage the driveway, which I truly appreciated.
Overall, a smooth and professional experience from start to finish. I would definitely recommend Pack Rat to anyone needing portable storage for a move.

Had me on the phone for 25 minutes. Told one price, said they could do better, then told another price. I agreed to this. Then, at the end, when they are getting a card on file, they said a different, higher, price. I am willing to pay for service, but unethical to keep changing the price.

They moved my container without giving me a phone call with all my prescriptions and clothes and everything I had in my house and didn’t even call me to make sure and I spoke to them originally to not move my pack rat until I said so they moved it anyway, and then they went and tried to charge me 100 to move it back to my house that I was moving from terrible and unprofessional

Alberto called 30 minutes before drop off and again before pick up.
He placed it exactly where I asked him to and was respectful of my property on both visits.
Thanks to Alberto and to 1800PackRat. Y'all made my task easier.

Not a realible company!
They informed me that it would take 10 days to deliver the container to NC, so I flew there to unload it. However, they were three days late and kept promising it would arrive in two days, which turned out to be false. I ended up receiving the container 12 days late, forcing me to pay for a hotel and rental car for an entire week that I hadn’t planned to stay.

Had one for 3 months which recently ended. No issues at all. Unit delivered as requested, driver was great, asking me exactly where I wanted it placed. When I was finished it was picked within 30 minutes of the estimated time, again by a very nice driver. The unit served its purpose as we tried to rebuild post hurricanes.
Would recommend to anyone looking for extra storage

scheduling is a nightmare, you’ll be told one thing but another is what happens. No one is on the same page. Was scheduled for a day the facility was closed they never called to tell me they changed the day but only in some part of the system because some employees showed us scheduled for the 10th and others the 11th then got a random text from a random number asking to change the pick up day. Spent hours speaking to different people on different days but everyone had a different answer. I wish I would have just rented a big moving truck and drove it myself. Delivery was no better- pods didn’t come when they were supposed to & where they dropped the unit was strange but then also took at least a week and a half to pick it up AFTER the scheduled pick up date. It just wasn’t good.
