The people are really nice here. I'm renting a gaming laptop and I had some problems and they took it back and due to circumstances they had to replace my first one with a brand new gaming laptop. I will definitely get something else once I pay off my laptop

This review will cover two areas, buying from Aarons and working for Aarons at 796 Beal Pkwy NW Ste 4, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32547. For a little background, I've personally been involved in business ownership for quite some time now and have managed at all levels. In recent times I've partnered with a private sector agency and found myself assisting with delivery at the above mentioned Aaron's. The Loading and receiving area also functions as storage for merchandise and is located at the back of the store behind the office. To my surprise, the room is filled with carpeting that is torn and loose, filled with dirt, smells horrible, and is a tripping hazard anytime you walk across it. Btw, this is where your furniture is stored including unpackaged mattresses they will sell. It's not uncommon for them to bring used furniture back to the store that is covered in pet hair with only a very minimal cleaning attempted by the staff. The store manager, Michael Pickering frequently complains about the cost of cleaning supplies and yet has one of the filthiest stores you'll ever walk into. The showroom floor where the appliances are featured is covered in black grime and doesn't appear to have been cleaned in years. Michael either does not care or is unable to decern that the conditions of the store are a direct reflection of who he is as the team leader. The store has two bathrooms that nobody seems to want to clean, particularly the manager, Michael Pickering which is really annoying considering he has frequent stomach issues that lead to him leaving his feces all over the inside of the toilet and simply leaving it for the next staff member or customer to clean up. He is a human-pig. On several occasions, I've observed Michael putting people in awkward situations by bringing up topics that should only be discussed in a confidential manner. It seems as though Michael is also unable to discern that respect and confidentiality should always be upheld by himself. Additionally, I recently observed him yelling across the store at another staff member in an extremely disrespectful tone in front of other team members. When respectfully approached by the associate that he'd insulted only moments before, he seemed to lack the skill needed to sort the issue out and was quick to dismiss that he had behaved distastefully. Rather than resolve the situation in a manner that would benefit Aaron's and the team member he very cowardly notified the temp agency by phone the next morning that he no longer needed this associate and gave no explanation. The regional manager, Clint Crane was given the opportunity to assist with the situation and unfortunately was completely dismissive in a profoundly rude and arrogant manner and completely rejected the suggestion to further investigate the situation by reviewing the store's audio video surveillance system with regard to Michael Pickering's recent disrespect of his own staff member. In summary, whether you are looking for furniture or electronics I would urge you to shop elsewhere. If you are looking for employment either part-time or full-time I would avoid this Aaron's location altogether until corporate is able to replace Michael and Clint with suitable overseers.

We rented a tv from this store and when we found we were being moved out of state we called them to come pick up, first they show up 30 minutes early and call me like its my problem then proceed to break a piece of my furniture that is not from a rental place and actually is decent expensive furniture and MATT acted like all they could do was picky up MY furniture and bring it to their store and they would attempt to fix it. Why would i allow these people to remove MY furniture just because they broke it removing a tv that was sitting on top of it. They were in a hurry and thats not my problem. i will send pictures of the damage to the DM today and i expect this to be properly rectified as soon as possible. I was a great customer already paid off a bigger tv through them and then got this one for another room however do to the move will be sending it back since its out of state. Our payments were on time and there is no reason for the attitude and treatment we received. This store needs a management overhaul promptly.
