I got two haircuts at this salon, both times with Candice who does curly hair and she was awesome. She’s friendly and fun and she listens to what the client wants. She helped me patiently to choose the best of products for my hair. I used the UF discount and it was awesome.

My daughter had a wonderful first haircut with Ms. Michelle. She was patient and wonderful with our daughter and made sense of our at times conflicting requests to create a great hairstlye that both mom and kid are thrilled about. Our daughter hasn't stopped talking about her haircut and Ms. Michelle. Thank you so much Michelle, we're eternally grateful for your starting her off with a positive and outstanding experience!

I love my stylist Leigh Ann she always gives me a beautiful cut and before she helped me with taking the color out of my hair she use to do a beautiful color also.
Now I am embracing my grey hair and youthful haircut.

I live in San Francisco and I’m always sure to come to Avant Garde for my haircuts when I’m back in town visiting family! Brittney was fantastic! She’s fun to chat with and she took all my concerns and ideas into consideration! Brittney checked in with me often and made me feel comfortable to speak up about any changes I wanted during the cut. I'm very embarrassingly blinking on her name, but my stylist not only gave me an excellent nail clipping, and a soothing wash and rub of very sensitive toes, but she engaged me in rich, engaging, and rewarding conversation.
I'll be coming back to see her as much as my finances allow, both because It will keep my toenails in the best shape they've ever been in, but also because I found the session relaxing and rewarding in a way I was not expecting but was very pleased to discover.

Shawna always listens to what I hope my hair will do and manages to make it happen somehow. She is an experienced colorist who isn’t afraid to try new things. She has expert hair-cutting tricks to make my thinning hair look voluminous. I always leave Avant Garde loving what she has done to my hair. I hope she never leaves. Give her a raise.
