Having your AC compressor stop working in the middle of summer is tragic. Jerry’s came to the rescue! Personable on the phone & in person, provided a quote a LOT less than what I was quoted by other shops. The icing on the cake was thinking I was only dropping off my car for them to confirm the issue & that they had the parts to complete the job. Instead I received a call after a few hours letting me know the work was completed. Shock, awe & joy! I’ll certainly be a returning customer.Service: A/C installation & repair

Effective and timely diagnostics on my A/C. Had both my Condenser and Evap system replaced. Very friendly and upfront business. Even gave me a discount on labor costs on my condenser. Will definitely be back and reccomend for and A/C work.Service: A/C installation & repair

He is busy but the possible wait is worth it. They do good work at a fair price—something that’s not easily found these days, I recommend!As to the 3% charge for using a credit card, there is a notice posted prominently on the glass devider at the check in/checkout counter. It’s not hidden. Also, it’s becoming more and more common for businesses to recover this cost. It doesn’t make me happy but it is what it is in this day and age.Services: Electrical repair

I'm Fairly new to Gainesville. Jerry's was recommended to me by a neighbor and Thank Goodness. I have a 92 Cadillac Fleetwood, and finding someone to work on it is not easy. I'm very satisfied with the work they did on my car and would recommend to anyone looking for a service center for their Automobiles!

Had a rear end sit here for over a month.. needed a rebuild so I called up there week after week trying get a quote.. they kept telling me to call back the next day.. i did.. still no quote. I left the rear end at their shop with two bolts in it.. finger tight bolts at that. already out of the truck and everything. They told me to pick it up so I came there to pick it up. I backed into their shop found my rear end sitting off somewhere loaded it up and left without seeing or speaking to a single face.. nobody was in the shop.. seems like nobody here wants to work..

First off, I went here because they were highly recommended by my regular shop because my shop was so backed up and I needed my ac fixed. They did it. That was the only positive experience I can say. When I went to pick it up, I was informed that there is a 3% charge for using a credit card. Really? In these days? On a $1500 job? Yeah, let me reach in my pocket and pull out cash because we all carry an abundance of it. Whatever, I had to pay because I needed my truck. Then upon getting in my car, I went to adjust the seat and almost fell out. They didn't bother to bolt my front seats back down. Not that it could have killed me in an accident or nothing. When I said something to the owner, he just laughed it off. Needles to say, I won't recommend them to anyone. I'll just wait next time. Not to mention, it's still not right.

This is an excellent shop. Jerry is efficient, honest, and cares about his customers. They helped save my car after an unnamed McDonald's car shop ruined my transmission and happily provided a testimonial to help me with a claim. I will be going back with anything else my car needs, and I recommend them to anyone.

I have used Jerry's AC for years. And if I were being honest, I would have to say they deserve more than five stars! They are reliable and customer focused. The quality of their work has NEVER disappointed. And that they actually do care about their customers is evident. It would never occur to me to go anywhere else. In fact, I am quick to offer up Jerry's AC as, flat out, the very best automotive in Alachua county! You will not be disappointed!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

The work you did is very fishy. The VA needs to pull your vendor's permit. Everything you were hired to do does not work and calling you does nothing. ( Yes I said everything you fixed does not work) I called the next day with a leaking transmission. Bring it in you said. Now the bill had towing quote in it remember. How should I drive this truck to you leaking fluid on the road? Being a veteran and disabled and a neighbor is not enough for you to fix my truck the first time. You were paid $2443 to put used working transmission in my truck. Not to take a hammer to my battery post. The flat tire you plugged has no air in it still. Did you ruin my battery by welding my exhaust back because you didn't undo the cables. I can't even crank it. So I sit at my home stuck because you can't fix the truck.$2443 was not what you got no... even charged me for a flat tire thanks. No I am not happy. Tows real nice though huh...and you got paid for that too. This review is not new just been waiting for them to call me back to fix what they were paid to do. Two weeks later...
