I just got a keratin treatment done and I’m honestly so happy with the whole experience. From the start, everyone was super nice and welcoming, they really made me feel comfortable in the chair. What I loved most was that they explained every step as they went along, so I knew exactly what was happening and what to expect.
Overall, the service and results were amazing, I felt taken care of the whole time, and I left with hair that feels completely transformed. Definitely something I’d recommend!!!

I’ve been going to this stylist since 2021, she’s the only one I trust with my hair. I waited so long to get a cut because I refuse to let anyone else touch it, and once again, she did a fantastic job. I told her I’ve had bad experiences in the past with stylists cutting too much, and she really listened and respected my wishes. She showed me everything step-by-step and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. My hair feels so much healthier now, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! - Sasha

I went once fell in love with how beautiful my hair was cut. Love the way she explained what’s best for your head and face shape. I was so in love with my results the first time I went back a second time and my hair feels even more amazing when I brush it I love to wear my hair down and it feels so natural that all I have to do it brush it and I already feel sexy with the way it’s cut perfectly. Definitely a great feeling to have someone take their time washing your hair thoroughly, cutting your hair perfectly to your face frame & styling it with real cautious care. I’ve found my new salon 😘& it’s worth every penny to feel beautifully taken care of here!

Thelma is an artist!! Very attentive and knowledgeable. I had a color and cut correction that was handled expertly. This is probably the best haircut and color I’ve ever had. Sounds crazy, but I knew only a few minutes in that I was in the hands of a true professional. I can’t recommend this salon enough!! Ten star rating!!

Thelma knows what she's doing!! I went in not feeling very good about my hair, I left feeling great about my color and style. She takes time discussing the best color/style for you. She also has very important information about products posted, I have never seen that before. Also a shout to Frances, she's wonderful too.

I never ever leave a review but Thelma definitely deserves one. I went in to get my curly hair layered. I was so anxious about my haircut because I wanted to try out something pretty different by getting curly bangs. Thelma very thoroughly explained that my hair isn’t dense enough for curly bangs and that it possibly wouldn’t look good. I love that she was straight up about it and didn’t sugar coat it. She asked me several times if I was sure I still wanted them and even when I hesitated to answer, she made me feel comfortable when she said she could leave my bangs longer just in case I didn’t like them. We went for the cut and the end result was amazing. Even Thelma ended up liking it! It’s safe to say that I will definitely be back in three months to keep up my haircut. Thank you so much!

I had the pleasure of having my first haircut with Thelma last week. Not only did she take the time to do a thorough evaluation of the current state of my hair, she asked me many questions about my hair history and challenges. There was no judgement, and she offered advice that worked with my lifestyle.
She then gave me a FANTASTIC cut. She took her time, but not unnecessarily slow. She continued to involve me in the decision making throughout, and altered her approach based on my feedback. It was very clear that this was about what I wanted, not what is easiest or quickest for her.
After she was finished we mapped out a plan moving forward. She sent me home with some ideas to keep me on the right track. I even got a follow up phone call a few days later from Frances (her wonderful assistant) to make sure I was happy and didn't have any follow-up questions/needs.
If you are experiencing hair challenges, whether brought about from styling/coloring damage, age, lifestyle or health - go see Thelma. Her unique set up allows for a personalized visit in a calm, private setting. Her salon is clean, her personality is fabulous and her knowledge is extensive.
Thelma is a kind, caring and wise person. I really enjoyed her as a person. We may have even shared a few laughs/tears.

My little cousin recommended this salon when I first moved down to WPB. Her hair is natural, healthy, thick and long, so I was excited to try. Thankfully, two years later, I haven't looked anywhere else ?.
Thelma's calling card is healthy hair for all of her clients. She's also a hair colorist - I don't do color (yet), but her other clients hair always look great and you can tell that it's healthy when they come in for their maintenance appts.
My favorite part is the gentle blow out (Frances, thank you!). Like, it doesn't hurt at all. I've been in other salons and wondered if the stylist hated me because of how often the heat would catch my scalp ?.
It's a quiet but friendly spot, limits on guests, no food, etc: I appreciate it and here's why: Appointment times are respected and I can reliably make plans for after. For a wash and silk press, I'm usually done within an hour and 20 minutes (a treatment or trim/cut of course adds a little time). Being a caretaker, I don't get much free time to myself, but Distinct is one of the few self care moments I get and they never disappoint!

Thelma is amazing! She is literally a hair doctor! My hair was in bad shape 2 years ago and with her help my hair is so healthy now! You can trust her and she really cares about her clients.
