I have taken my work van to many mechanics only to be misdiagnosed and overcharged. Thank goodness for a referral to this family-owned business, not only was the diagnosis a $5 fix plus labor that was easy on my pocketbook but I have trust now with an auto shop and will not be taking my vehicles anywhere but here. Looking forward to many more miles on my work van that I was debating whether to junk or invest in. Glad I invested in Alternative Car Care

I've been a loyal, established customer of Alternate Car Care since I moved to New Port Richey nearly 20 years ago. The owner & the entire staff is wonderful, highly professional, knowledgeable, thorough when servicing my vehicle. James, the Head Mechanic is very experienced & is a master of his craft. He has an amazing ability of diagnosing a problem, zeroing in on it, making an estimate on the cost & labor, & making the repair. I trust Alternative Car Care implicitly.
I highly recommend them for your auto maintenance needs. I'm completely satisfied with all the work & maintenance they've done on my 2 vehicles. If I could give them 10 stars I would!

I want to thank the guys here, they went over and beyond for my daughter. We had a appointment for Friday and when she went to drop the car off the day befor they fixed her problem on the spot. They didn't have to do this but it shows they take care of their customers, that's hard to find these day. Thank you for great service and always being helpfull when we have been to you.

It is rare to find a truly honest mechanic shop. I won’t go into the details but this shop had our best interest in mind by way of referring us to a shop who was able to work on our particular issue. An engine issue this shop isn’t equipped to perform. This simple act ended up saving us thousands of dollars. This wasn’t our first visit. We have been totally satisfied each visit. My alternator decided to die :( luckily Alternative car care was able to get me in promptly, with great prices, friendly service and amazing workmanship! These guys know what they’re doing and are very kind people too. I recommend everyone comes to them for car care. :)
