We booked a full day charter out of Bud n Mary's with Reel McCoy, Capt Ray & Capt Justin. They did not disappoint. We did stop in Sunday night just to confirm our reservation and we asked if the cafe would be open so we could get breakfast. He said yes absolutely. When we arrived Monday morning, cafe closed...wa wa wa ...bummer.. luckily we were early so we had time to hit another spot. Back to the charter.... Capt Ray & Justin we're AWESOME ??...they were fun to watch doing what they love to do and extremely good at it. Despite high winds and very rough seas we were able to catch our limit and had a fantastic time. Out of 3 of us I was the only 1 that helped them out with the chum, about 9 times haha ??...still we had a great time and 1 other bloke had a bit of upset stomach but held his own but given my apparent weakness for huge ? we decided to make it a half day....the 46 footer was rocking at least 45 degrees side to side and me being an avid boat just could not take those monster waves much to my surprise.....? ??
We still had an amazing time and would do it all again...just with some Dramamine...??
They had some great recommendations where to go to get fresh tacos from our catch and that was amazing as well... See my other reviews for that one... Again top notch,... Capt Ray did a great job filleting our catch and we walked away with a load of fish.. Capt Justin worked his ass off the entire time... I did not see him stop moving...they both did an amazing job to ensure the 3 of us had a great time and yet we're still understanding to my newly found weak stomach. Don't let that stop you, get Dramamine or something else ... Be more prepared than I was, take some food and beers and have a great time!!! They were on POINT ☝️☝️

Had an awesome day fishing on the Catch 22. We do a lot of offshore fishing on our own boat but decided to take a charter for a full day (Hurricane Milton temporarily grounded our boat). Captain Scott and his crew were extremely knowledgeable, friendly and made it a fun day. We brought back a huge variety of fish (I learned a lot) and it was non stop action from beginning to end. Highly recommend.

Captain made sure we caught fish. Very rough seas weather impacted the fishing, but it was a great experience. Very knowledgeable.

This place has been around forever. Haven't been here since the 90s and nothing has changed. Which is great. Freidnly laid-back Keys folks. All good.

Party Boat YES!!! 100% recommended when visiting the keys and looking for a fun and outdoorsy experience. We had such a great time, the crew did an amazing job teaching us and coaching us on how to fish better and go home with a full cooler. Highly recommended and definitely doing it again. Bring a good amount of drinks specially water, snacks and sun block, you’ll absolutely need it. Wear comfortable clothes and soft sole shoes, and add a couple of small towels to clean the bait juice out of your hands. Don’t forget to bring your tip in cash to thank the crew for their hospitality and service. Thank you Bud N’ Mary’s ?

I did not stay there. Just stopped to walk around, go to the store and get a snack. Look at the view and boats. Very friendly staff.

Allway on this fishing boat never had a problem... this week fishing was very poor so like always your given a number a white old men stayed at one of the corners and I asked him to please move in an orderly fashion an old man laughed at me so I got a little disappointed because the mates on ship didn't anything to him but when I told him he's know different from me and I got a little loud then he moved .then he went to one of the mates and started complaining then he went up the ladder were it states employees only i said wow how is he going up the ladder and not being advise that he was doing wrong. But then the captain came and got in my face and started threatening meand screaming at and told police will be waiting for my actions toward this man and next time I should bring it to the attention of the staff well this is not my job .... but as we started headed back i saw so much favoritism over this one person from one of the mates and the captain and I saw why because he pays $120 plus tip like everyone else but his tip are very generous toward there mates that the reason he has the ok to stay at back of ship the hole time and nobody says nothing because people are first times and don't follow s rules because there told what to do... I think it's very wrong from captain to mate to treat a paying customer that way telling me the cops will be waiting for me by the captain is wrong because all I did was ask someone to please move. Why is this allowed since we all pay for the same charter.
Noteworthy details: This is poor service and ethics. Wish this would have been different.

First visit was nice to see tarpon and nurse sharks. It was fairly messy around in general however which is a real shame. More so there was a fuel spill and the place had a real strong fuel smell and there was a huge slick on the water it put a downer on the place as mostly is beautiful.

Catch 22 fishing charter day in July. Captain Scott and Deckhand AJ are the dynamic duo. AJ worked harder than any other first mate I’ve fished with in 40 years. Captain Scott has an incredible skill for finding and slaying fish…his Dad jokes are something questionable though…lol. Great boat, awesome crew. Don’t pass these guys up.

Just stopped to feed the tarpon and had a great time! Everyone is super friendly and it’s all reasonably priced. It’s not as crowded as other places you can feed tarpon.
Food and drinks: Stop by the cafe! Great food and coffee!
