The worst experience I have ever had, 446 pounds of copper cable paid for 0.75 per pound...the scam of the year, if you go to this place, ask what price they will pay for recycling...don't let yourself be shamelessly robbed... scam place I sold the same material as in this place but I went to another recycler that is in front of San Club and they paid me 2.15 x pound... I recommend going to that place, don't let yourself be robbed here...

If I could give them zero stars I would. They rob me every chance they get and theirstaff acts like they are better than anyone put in the life situation where they have to be at the scrap yard scraping. I will no longer be using their service.

After going to CMC, dropping my steel, going back over the scale and pulling into area to take the non ferrous metals, I was welcomed with cones blocking my path. I explained that I was there before close. I had dropped my steel and just had a few buckets already separated to turn in. They wouldn’t allow me to do so. It was 4:02 and again I was already given entry to take the steel. I got my weight slip and money for the steel and looked up who was still open which led me to Abanti. The atmosphere was completely different. Everyone was pleasant and helpful even though I came in right before close. They educated me on some of my metal so I didn’t lose substantial money and took the metal that was 100% clean. They showed me how to check my copper and brass and advised me to separate it and come back so I don’t lose substantially. I will never return to CMC and Abanti has become my new yard.

The fine folks ( from owner to yard techs ) are all very professional and helpful. They want you to get the best price for your scrap. They always take the time to teach you the best way to scrap. They are courteous and always willing to help. Thanks

Something is seriously wrong with scale with wife in car it weighs the same as with me by myself but you cannot question them about it because it's ok as far as they are concerned I now have proof on receipts so be careful and watch the scale close

Hello,As a plumber I've been to lots of scrap yards. Never have I been to one as friendly. The guy who helped me was an absolute pleasure. He shook my hand and engaged in conversation. I didn't get his name but he had some cool piercings:) The prices for my metal were excellent! I'll never go anywhere else.Thank you!
