I have been waiting almost a month for a back window. Have called 3 times, and listened to the phone message that says “in order to continue our tradition of excellent service, this call will be recorded”. Each time I speak to a rep, they seem surprised that nobody has contacted me…they promise that someone will contact me soon, and nobody does. I guess I can understand that a part can take a while, but this long? And the fact they are completely ignoring me is completely unsat.
Update:
I called my insurance company after Glass America STILL didn't reply to me, and told the insurance company that I have no faith in Glass America, that they were ignoring me. The insurance called on my behalf and they couldn't even speak to anyone either. Accordingly, we decided to go with another company (safelite), who had no trouble finding the part and scheduled an appt for me on our first contact. My insurance agent informed me that they would submit feedback on this vendor so that the can be "investigated by our business process owners to see if they are a company we want to continue working with", 5 days after my last review, I was contacted by email and told that I have an appt for tomorrow morning...without ever even contacting me to tell me the part was in, or to ask me when I would like to schedule the service. Hard to believe a company can be this flippant about its customer service. Needless to say, we are going with satellite, and should have in the first place.

Surprised at the low rating of this business. We were in and out in less than an hour, and our technician Jacob was very friendly and efficient. If you have to wait in their office for your car, there’s complimentary coffee and water, as well as a TV. We will definitely return if we need to.

Some of the other reviews on Glass America made me nervous but they were excellent! Everyone was very friendly, they were quick, very communicative, and did a great job! I’ve had no issues with my windshield or calibration whatsoever. Would recommend!

I recently had an incredibly satisfying experience with Glass America! From the seamless online scheduling process to the friendly and professional local personnel, everything was top-notch. The service technician who worked on my EV was exceptional, delivering real quality work. The customer service was outstanding, and the facility was probably the cleanest auto glass facility I have ever visited. I highly recommend Glass America for all your auto glass needs!

Thieves broken into 35+ cars in my community on May 7th, mine was one of them. I have to travel out of US on 12th, I was in terrible situation.I called Glass America, explained them my situation and they assured me that they will fix my car before I leave. Out of my expectations, the glass was fixed on third day on priority. I am very thankful to Glass America customer support and technician who understood my problem and fixed it.Highly recommend

I am from Massachusetts and my windshield got damaged while vacationing in St.Augustine. My insurance company (Travelers) recommended Safelite and I had the worst experience of my life. Not knowing what to do I found Glass of America and I contacted Tammy. They handled my situation with high standard professionalism. I highly recommend them. Thank you for your great customer service.

I used them for my back glass on my 2018 Silverado 2500hd. After install I went to pick my truck up and when I open my back door the door seal hits me. The door seal was hanging off the truck. I didn’t say anything and just pushed the seal back on as it is an easy fix and people make mistakes. I continue looking and I see that the headliner in the back is completely pushed up and bent. I try to pull it down with no success. The next day it started raining and I look back there to find water leaking in. They tell me they will send someone out. The same tech comes and he has a bad attitude and acted like I was lying until he seen it leak. He replaces it once again. He shattered the window on purpose to “get it out easily” and months later I still have my kids find glass in the back and give it to me. Fast forward 3 months and I break the glass again and call a different company. The new company comes and immediately tells me that whoever replaced it last time scratched my truck heavily and used black primer to cover it up (my truck is white). After he showed me, it’s all I can see and the paint is everywhere. The new company said they wouldn’t touch it because of how much glue was used and how much damage there was. I call glass America back and tell them the situation and they say they will send someone out to look at it. I requested not to have the same guy come again due to his attitude. Well, that’s who they send. When he shows up he immediately started with the attitude. The first thing he says is “oh you broke the window and want it for free”. I said “no I already filed a claim but they won’t do it due to the damage”. He responds with “your truck is hard to do without scratching it, and the primer only comes in black to cover it”. I told him that I wouldn’t accept that because that is his whole job, to replace windows and not damage them in the process. He got mad and said “well I can’t fix it here, I’ll tell them to call you”. He stormed to his van and actually spun off. Now three weeks later I have called everyday with no response, I live in Florida where it rains every day and my back glass is still busted and leaking. I have over $100k in this truck and it’s getting rained in and destroyed.

First call to the office was a waste of time. Tech did not follow-up with me after contacting the dealer as promised. Call back to the office to find my claim was not saved in the system so I need to start the process again. Very detailed instructions about where to find vehicle and retrieve keys were left but completely ignored. When tech arrived at my job, went to the wrong entrance and inconvenced 5 staff members to get my keys to him.
Unbelievable.

Had my glass fixed after a break in. Cheaper than the competitors by almost 40% and they came to my door. The technician was very professional and completed the job in no time. Highly recommend.

Had an employee of Auto Glass America stop by and ask if we needed any auto glass repair work done. I said yeah we actually do. My wife Chevy Traverse front windshield has a crack on it. So we signed up and got the replacement scheduled. The work was done there days later, and then never heard anything else all done and good. So I didn’t expect to have anything happen. 5 months later I noticed my insurance went up , Didn’t think much of it then I checked back the next month it went up again and then again and then again. So I called my insurance company they took a couple days but they get back to me and they told me the following. Auto Glass America, sued us for more money. They charged over $1,200 for the replacement and we paid the bill according to your policy for the replacement $601.63. Progressive settled the case and paid their attorney $1,300 in return for dismissing the case. Now, as you can imagine, I was totally shocked, furious, mind blown! How can we sign up to have our window done They said they’ll take care of everything which we thought they did, they replaced the window all good and then they sue our insurance company for what??? And now we are struggling to pay these higher insurance payments!F these people!!!
