Denver had such a great experience working with Helen and Outsmarting Dogs. He was trained at Helen’s home for two weeks and learned the basics for crate training, potty training, leash walking and a handful of other behaviors. Helen was very communicative through email and continued to send updates and videos to help capture his experience and ways to modify his behaviors. I appreciate all that Helen has done for him and will continue to use her for boarding, if needed in the future. Thank you again!

Helen sent us videos and updates about our dog while he was in her train and board. She answered any questions we had before we signed up because we were looking for positive training only. He came home better trained and we can manage him much better now too. Happy to recommend in the future.

Helen is fabulous to work with. Auggie is a super-charged 8 month old Standard Schnauzer. He needed work on manners and potty training refinement. Auggie spent two weeks with Helen for board and train. He now sits before he is released from his crate and before he goes through a door to enter or exit the house. She worked Auggie to curb his habit of jumping up on people and to break his habit of "counter surfing". She identified the small mistakes we were making with potty training to eliminate his occasional mistakes. She made lots of videos to demonstrate proper techniques to use in training Auggie. The progress she made in two weeks with Auggie is remarkable. We will continue working with him maintain his new skills. We are so glad we found Helen. Her progress with Auggie is truly remarkable.

We took our almost 1 yer old puppy to Helen for train and board and it was amazing! Our girl came back so much more relaxed and house trained. Luna was sad to leave. Highly recommend :)

If you are looking for a great place to train and board your dog this is it. We took our new puppy, Bean to Helen and it was an amazing experience. He came back knowing how to ring the bell for potty, come when called, and is no longer mouthing or nipping at us. He is a generally more obedient dog while still maintaining his puppy spirit. She had an amazing way with our pup and he felt loved and learned so much while in her care. I really loved seeing all of the videos and photos she sent while he was with her. I continue to view these to further enhance his training. I highly recommend Outsmarting Dogs to anyone looking to help their dog with training. He loved her too and we are so grated she is here to answer our follow up training questions!
