Excellent service from Jake. Jake is a very knowledgeable, old school mechanic that is very sharp with the newer Fords, mustangs as well the older classics and fox bodys. He is a good racing specialist. He is straight-up and honest, and his prices are reasonable. I finally found a shop with a good Ford mechanic to take my mustang work that I can no longer perform.

What can I say about Jake and Lamotta's that has not already been said? The guy is a wizard with mustangs, for that matter any car. I brought my car in last year and it was a total disaster coming from another shop. ( I am sure we all know what shop I am talking about in Apopka) I drove the car into the shop in Apopka and all I was just wanting was some simple motor work. 2 years later the car was still in the shop and the mechanic had no idea what problem was induced. I finally decided enough was enough and I went and picked up the car and had to tow it to Lamotta's. Jake said give him some time but he would take on the project. Jake put in a new motor, retrofitted a Terminator X kit for my 1994 Cobra, and then custom tuned it. The car sounds amazing and runs flawlessly. Jake is the man! I wouldn't take my mustang anywhere else.

I trust LaMotta Performance 100% with my Mustang. I had them add some suspension components originally. Then recently my alternator died on me. They were able to get me in and out within 24 hrs so I could make it back to work on time. I believe their prices to be fair. They are extremely knowledgeable with Ford products. If you have a Ford product and need a good mechanic this is the place for you. Especially Mustangs.

Took a T56 Magnum to them to put back together. Got it cleaned up and back to me in 2 days. AMAZING work and super nice people there. Will be going back for my 8.8 build as well!

New to Florida… found and came to Jake and Debbie with a heavy heart and very difficult situation with my Mustang build… twice failed engine build and a car that I have lost almost 4 years to bad luck, getting burnt by a local shop that I would not name except that the owner took my car and crashed it getting a DUI and COVID… well… Jake took the time to go over everything and a game plan to resurrect my beast… he provided his network… Kris Starnes and rebuilt my car to near perfect condition… these folks are the REAL DEAL… LaMotta Performance is by far one of the best performance shops that I have ever experienced… Jake’s knowledge, skill, efficiency, thoroughness, attention to detail, organization and communication is second to none… my car is running like never before and Jake and Debbie took good care of me despite my situation… these are great people with integrity and honesty… I unreservedly recommend them…

terrible. never go here for anything. came for a simple twin disk clutch install and the car was nearly undrivable afterward. wouldnt go into gear or come out of gear since the clutch was dragging. Car would creep forward going into gear and sometimes had to kill the motor to take it out of 1st. i bring it back and they say the clutch is defective. i send it back to california as per their suggestion to get it checked out. ($300+ dollars in shipping i was never reinbursed for) the clutch company said it was completely good. Lamotta reinstalled the same clutch and it no longer drags, so it was install error but they still charged me $400 even though it was due to their incompetence. also when i brought it back the first time, the owner, jake lamotta, gave me a blank stare the whole time along with one word answers as i was explaining what was wrong with the car. As if im the problem, Like im holding up his day and i dont know nothin. Here’s the kicker, to this day, the clutch still doesnt function properly. It stinks like hell anytime a moderate load is put on it. Remember, the clutch wasn’t glazed at all and i did 1000 miles of city break in. Ex. passing someone in 6th gear, punching the throttle at 4k in 4th, would stink like burning clutch. Mind you, this is a 800hp capable clutch (mcleod rst), slipping on my n/a 2015 mustang gt. Lamotta is a joke that puts clutches together with an impact. Stay as far away as you can from this place

Best of the best. Jake and Debbie always have the willingness to answer questions and help when possible. Jake is the only person I trust working on my track Mustang. Always does great work and has an attention to detail. I couldn't recommend Lamotta Performance enough.
