Crew was nice and helpful. Fishing was fishing but still better than not fishing. I would have gave it a five if I could have got a spot on the back of the boat. I was the first one in line but the guy running the booth tagged all the rod holders in the back of the boat for friends. Then to have one of the first mates say fishing is typically better at the back of the boat.

Had a fun morning getting out to the blue water and catching some fish. Bottom fishing with stout rented rods. Mates were quick to assist if any issues with tackle, taking fish off, or getting free of snags. We didn't catch anything big but took home a mess of 9 fish. This was my first time on a party boat. They give each group a designated mark for the fish you catch, then all the fish go together. For example our mark was 3 head. So when we caught a keeper fish they would make 3 quick slices on the fish's head before putting it in with everyone else's fish. When we got back to the dock the fish were sorted, which was a show in itself. There was then the option of the crew cleaning your fish by fileting them for 33 cents each. A bargain! My fish were small and there wouldn't have been much left after fileting so I opted to take them back and clean them myself.
I would have used their services if they were bigger :)

No real effort to get us on fish. Boat old and very loud when running and ran slowly. Time for fishing was very short. Not impressed at all.

At first, we were very excited about the experience. We were traveling from Spain and wanted to enjoy Florida’s wildlife. As the trip went on, I started feeling very dizzy on the boat, and at the beginning the staff member named Jack was nice. However, when we tried to pay for a bottle of water and realized we didn’t have cash, he started treating us badly and with disdain, simply because we wouldn’t be able to leave a tip.
Supposedly, the experience includes taking home the fish you catch, but since we couldn’t leave a tip, he told us we couldn’t take them, and he said it in a very rude way, even with a racist tone, telling us that next time we come to the United States we should bring money.
It’s a real shame, because we were so excited, and the excursion could have been fun. The treatment we received, however, was terrible.

Had a great time fishing on this boat. We usually fish boats in Key West but decided to drive back to Marathon to fish this boat and it was worth the drive. Everyone was super attentive and the captain and crew did everything to make sure we caught fish and enjoyed ourselves. Would highly recommend this boat! They move if fishing gets slow and really work. Thank you for a great time!

We had such a great time this week on this boat! It was a great affordable way to get our family out fishing on a last minute trip in the keys, we will definitely book every time we are down here with this fishing excursion. The deckhands were so attentive and helpful to make sure we all were catching fish and having fun!

Highly recommend. Very affordable if you just want to do some bay fishing. They provide everything you need, including bait and a pole. They even help you with the fish and you can keep your fish. We took our 12 and 8 year old with us, so it is family friendly.

Was feeling nostalgic and looked u up. I fished u guys 4 days in a row as a 15 year old in Jul '92. Glad to see u guys still putting smiles on faces 30+ yrs later.

I used to fish this boat every year. They used to be great and I always caught a lot of fish. In recent years the staff has become rude and a lot less fun to fish with

It was a nice day fishing, it was a little choppy, but a great day fishing, the captain did his job and found the fish, the deck hands we cool when you had a fish they took care of it. I wish I had pictures to post but I was fishing.

We have done the bottom fishing boats from key west up to key largo. Some are terrible some are good. This was our first time on Marathon Lady and wow was it awesome. The best trip we have ever had. We caught a good amount of snapper but more than that I just want to say it was the best party fishing boat we have been on in the keys. The staff from the ticket booth to the deck hands to the captian were all so nice. Boat was clean and had everything you would need on it. Went with my 14yr old son and they were just so great with him. Will be booking again as it is honestly the best in the keys. I will say next time we will request the stern as that is where they chum the most.

Amazing! We went last year and loved it so much we decided to go again this year and it did not disappoint. Caught some real nice mangrove snappers. The boat overall caught a TON of fish and my husband had such a great time we are going again tonight.
I recommend!
