Everything was fabulous! Loved the purple martins. Mexico Beach is known for its insects as well as beautiful beaches! Those martins kept the balcony and patio/swing area insect free!!! Loved it. They are also pet friendly ❤️

The Driftwood is more than a hotel.. it is a destination! Outside the rooms, I felt like I was sitting in a bird sanctuary... The sound of the ocean waves, Palms trees blowing in the wind, and birds singing their Tunes made for a very relaxing environment! The tiny Chapel outside the main Hotel is a nice touch.
The high quality spacious rooms, with an amazing view of the ocean, are more lovely than I had hoped for.
We enjoyed our evenings with a glass of wine , relaxing by the beach side fire pit.
The staff of this family-owned destination were very friendly and helpful. Our fur baby was very welcomed as well!
I highly recommend this lovely place.

We got married on the beach at The Driftwood Inn in March and held our reception in the nautical event hall, Brandy and her staff were so helpful and accommodating not only to us but also to our guests! The rooms are spacious and well thought out, each room has a beautiful view of the newly restored beach with its own private balcony. If you’re looking for a quiet, quaint place to relax or looking for a place to host this is it!

We were regular residents for our vacations at the old Driftwood. We were there in Sep '18, just prior to the hurricane and enjoyed it as always. So glad Tom and Peggy and the family decided to rebuild. They've done a remarkable job.
We will be coming back often.
Happy we got to see Tom and Peggy while we were there.

A lovely Inn right on the Gulf of Mexico. The rooms look right out on the beach and have their own private balcony. Their boardwalk takes you just steps from the water. If you're looking for a quiet and relaxing beach trip, this is for you. The owners and staff are all friendly and knowledgeable of the area and its history. Plenty of great food nearby and in Port St. Joe. Apalachicola can easily be made into a day trip and is definitely worth it.
