I bought a $4500 EVO17-S from them and instantly ran into constant blue screens. It also has this INCREDIBLY annoying whistle and I'm not just talking about the sound of air. I would be absolutely okay with some large air flow noise, if it were just the sound of air flow, but this is something rotating, winding up and down when the fans kick up and down, super annoying and mostly because it's present even when the computer is idling and the fans are not even running! Embarrassing for so much money. I'll be playing D&D with my other friends, with only google opened up and it's so loud, while all of them have silent laptops. Half a dozen conversations with tech support and reformats until it was finally sent in under warranty. Received it back and it still blue screens and still WHISTLES. Reformating doesn't help. Pretty sure it has hardware malfunctions and now it's no longer under warranty by a few months or so. It's progressed to screen tears, more blue screens and the whistle has gotten even worse! What I get for not using it for so long I guess as I've basically given up on it since now my $4.5k laptop will likely cost me more money if I decide to send it in again, risking more money for likely more problems. I'm pretty sure that's the only way they are still in business, making more money of these problems. This type of experience should be illegal and covered even out of warranty. One of the worst most expensive purchases I've ever made.

They charge you in full for your order, even when parts are back ordered or not available. I canceled my order because Microcenter had what I needed in stock. “Customer Service” (rep Edward) will not respond to updates on refund status for canceling. I suppose a credit dispute is how you handle a canceled order and refund with these guys… Specs and hardware look great, but the customer service so terrible I would run the other way….

My Origin PC Gaming Laptop rocks. It's fast. It's powerful. Great for gaming, video editing, streaming, and photoshop. I had it customized perfect for my needs.

In December 2022, they sold me a computer, however the mobo inside was broken. Speak with the IT staff; they looked over my machine and confirmed that all of the drivers were installed. I requested a return but was told there was a 15% restocking fee. Since I knew that it was neither their responsibility nor mine that the computer had failed, I gently approached them and asked them to waive the fee. My reimbursement came three weeks later. I'm hoping things go better as I'm about to buy a second computer from them.

They sent me a bricked defective machine. Stay as far away from this company as possible. I ordered a $3000 pc from them. It was delivered on Friday, February 18 2022. Upon receipt I unboxed it and attached my monitors and peripherals. I pressed the ON switch. Nothing. Nothing at all. I called "tech" support. The person said it was most likely the power supply..He also advised me to try to short the the power switch at the motherboard. I tried that. Nothing. He then said they would send me a new power supply overnight. Then he said "of course UPS doesn't guarantee overnight". I said I understood. Saturday I decided to visit my closest Best Buy and purchase my own new power supply. Four hours later I was back home with a new Corsair RM850x. I installed it and then video-called a friend so we could both witness my machine springing to life. After triple checking all the connections and triple checking the surge protector and wall outlet I pressed the ON switch. Nothing. Absolutely nothing. I called "tech support". I told the person I wanted to return the machine for a refund. He told me "OF COURSE THERE IS A 15% RESTOCKING FEE". SO THE COMPANY WANTS $450 FOR THE PRIVILEGE OF RETURNING A MACHINE THAT WAS DEFECTIVE OUT OF THE BOX.I said I would not pay any "restocking" fee. The person told me that a manager would have to approve any full refund. I said fine, lets talk to a manager. The person said "managers don't work on weekends". I said ok, then call one at home. They refused. I told them to cancel the shipment of the replacement power supply. He said he would cancel it.1/22 I called Origin PC "tech support" again to speak with a manager. The person said that "no managers are working since it's President's Day". I said "fine, let's call one at home. I'm working today and in fact I was working on Saturday and Sunday, too. Let's just reach out." The person said no managers are "on the clock" and they're entitled to their day off. The person refused to do anything further and cut off the call.

I bought the laptop from origin pc a few years ago. The computer has failed on me several times and I have had to endure weeks without a function computer. I have $400 computers that have consistently been more reliable than my Origin PC. I like how their social media is always referencing people asking for free pcs. The request for free PCs likely comes from the massive inconvenience the unreliable machines they produce cause. I have lost work documents and hundreds of man hours because of these PCs. I would recommend purchasing elsewhere where you can find reliability and better support. My computer just died on me for the 5th or 6th time and won't turn on, time to move on for me.

2 stars since they were able to get me a 3080 laptop which are hard to acquire, though the entire process took longer than advertised. -3 stars since they sent me a laptop which supposedly went through days of testing, but had constant BSOD issues on arrival. I was able to get the system working after a huge amount of time invested on my own part (the origin support was a joke) and don't recommend purchasing a laptop from them.

This has to be BY FAR the WORST computer buying experience I have ever had. It has taken over 2 months for me to receive my PC build from Origin. I have had to email, speak on chat and call their representatives multiple times. My computer shipment date has been delayed twice and every time the representatives offer up an expectation of the amount of time for the PC to ship out is always incorrect. COVID has affected a lot of business and I am understanding about wait times. False expectations and incorrect timelines for the process is unacceptable. Had I known from the very beginning that I would have to wait 2 whole months for my PC build I probably would have gone somewhere else with my business.

Ordered a pc in the middle of november a month later still no pc.. Sent 2 emails with questions and requests with no response. Sent a 3rd complaining about the other 2 and requested a time frame. Got a response back with a time frame but no response to my other emails. All of this and a month later and my pc has finally shipped. I'm expecting to take my 3 star down to a 1 star after I get the thing home and unpacked. I'm sure I'm going to be disappointed after reading other comments and reviews.
