Beware! I applied for a 1 year CD. No feedback after 2 business days indicated for opening process. Called after 4 days and was told a picture of my drivers license was needed. Sent and called since no confirmation was sent as requested. Confirmed and was told application would be processed the following day. Nothing happened for another 2 days. Called and was told my application was denied. No reason, and there should be no reason. Lost over a week in interest with the money in my checking account and had to apply at a different bank. Unfortunately interest rates dropped in the meantime. Do not recommend this bank at all! Go to a reputable bank even if the interest rate is slightly lower. You will save yourself a lot of trouble.

I recently applied for a CD account with this bank and was disappointed by the lack of communication throughout the process. Despite applying online, I received no updates and was compelled to check the status myself after two days, only to discover that my application had been declined. When I contacted customer service for clarification, the agent couldn't provide any reason for the denial. Having banked with top-tier institutions for decades, I find the manual and opaque nature of this bank's processes both surprising and unacceptable. I cannot recommend this bank based on my experience, as its practices do not meet the standard one would expect from a reputable financial institution.

I have never felt more discriminated and insulted as I did by just trying to open a simple business account at Pacific National bank in Brickell Miami. The branch manager was unprofessional, unethical and totally incompetent and profiled me because of the color of my skin and/or the way I was dressed.

The branch manager was unprofessional, unethical and totally incompetent and profiled me because of the color of my skin and/or the way I was dressed. This person does not deserve to hold this position or represent the bank branch. Therefore I decided not to open a bank account here or give them my business.
