Bill is extremely rude and very unprofessional when you call them out on their lies. Beware these mechanics at Smutny & Ross are shysters. Scamming and taking advantage of the owners of the car that are elderly people in their mid 70’s. Took Hyundai in and they replaced the starter and the car still car still didn’t work. Shady establishment then said they have to replace the engine for an estimated total of $8,000. That’s nearly the total value of the car for its year and mileage ranging roughly from $9,000 to $12,000. Still trying to scam and charge for a starter replacement of a when the car still doesn’t work and the problem never was the starter in the first place says a lot about this business and the shenanigans they try to pull potential clients. How the hell are you going to tell me you need to replace a starter on an engine that’s had fire from a recall ABS?

Good people. I called on Friday, they said bring it Monday morning. I got it back Monday, early afternoon, with a new starter. My dealer had told me 2 weeks for diagnosis and in total 3-4 weeks! Who can be without their car for 2-4 weeks? Gthoh! Thanks Bill.
