I write this as a 10 year Hilton Diamond member that travels almost every week. This review is directed solely at breakfast. The service was as good as any when you eat at a buffet. The full buffet was about $34 (warm food) and the continental about $23 (cereal, fruit, muffin). Both could be a dollar more or less. For a resort the food on the buffet was very disappointing. Not bad but just about the same food you would get at a Hampton Inn with the exception here you had the option for an omelet if you wanted to wait in a 12 person line. Pancakes were cold, eggs were imitation scrambled, bacon typical hotel bacon, etc. You could order off the menu but individual items were near as expensive as the buffet. One egg off the menu cost more than 4 dozen eggs back home. We stayed for 5 days but only ate breakfast here the first morning then opted to drive down the street to other restaurants if that gives you an idea of the value to price. Value for the dollar? 2 star.

This is by far the most expensive, non-satisfying meal we have ever had. We waited 15 minutes to be seated and another 10 minutes before we saw a waitress. Finn was pleasant but overworked or simply bad at her job because we then waited 30 minutes for our drink order. We placed our order and waited another 30 minutes for our appetizer, which consisted of 6 tiny oysters for a very high price. Finally, we got our sandwiches and the tenderloin sandwich was not cooked to the medium rare as ordered, had no horseradish or any of the other condiments as stated in the menu. They onion rings were cold and flavorless and were only edible with the ketchup I had to ask for. My husband's pimento cheese BLT was tasty, but very messy. In all, we did not enjoy the meal or the ambiance. I've been coming to this resort since it opened and I've never experienced such poor service and poor quality of food for such a high price.

This place is a terrible place to work. I don't like to support places that treat their employees badly and fire people for no reason and without warning. I'm very disappointed.

We were kind of concerned about eating in a hotel restaurant, but this was pleasantly surprised. The prices were not outrageous and the food was plentiful and very good!!

This review is specific to the Lounge bar. In town for a conference and decided to check it out. Our bartender Coley was absolutely amazing! She was so nice and friendly to talk with. She made off-menu drinks on the spot based on flavor profiles we asked for, and completely nailed it. Totally worth it!

My girlfriend and I went to the breakfast buffet, for $30 per person. It looked and smelled good from a distance. The best part was the omelet, and it was ok. The rest of the food was cold, pancakes were so rubbery I could not cut them with my knife. I have been to multiple buffets around the world and at Hilton Hotels, and for the price I paid for this one was not worth it. The free continental breakfast was better. I didn't even want to go back for seconds. This is supposed to be the best and it was at a sub-par level and the service was okay, considering I served myself. Save your money, go eat outside of the hotel. You will appreciate it later. It is way overpriced in the hotel.

Very noisy atmosphere in the evening. Service was friendly but slow. The food was mediocre. It was warm at best like it had been sitting for a while before it made its way to us. And the prices? ? I know it's a hotel and that automatically means more expensive but a $15 grilled cheese sandwich? I don't think so.

The service was fantastic, the food was okay I had the Beyond burger which was not the best I've had but not the worst either. I do recommend the vegetable sushi it was fairly good. For a convenient bite, this will do.

We have had a great time here at Hilton but we made a mistake eating at sandcastles. Our bill was 187.00 and it was bad. We bought three sushi rolls and they were really bad, sour like lime juice in the rice or something. We had one Philadelphia, pink lady, and I don’t remember the third. My wife got the platter and it was really terrible, tons of flour batter on fish. Our waitress was okay but it was soooooo disappointing.

You would be surprised to find a spot of this caliber in the Sandestin Hilton, but these folks are top notch. "Warm beer and bread reminds me of the menu at the Holiday Inn" , goes the lyrics of Jimmy Buffet's Cheeseburger in Paradise. The grouper sandwich here is out off sight good!! A large thick portion of grilled grouper on a brioche bun. Their house tarter sauce is not your father's tarter sauce at all. A delicious blend that compliments the sandwich to perfection. The wait staff is great and the ambiance is hopping. Come on in and get you some, folks. Good eats indeed.

One server working every table, took us over two hours to eat and get out of here, which was disappointing at a resort. Definitely a waste of time for our last night here.

A very nice hotel restaurant with made to order omelettes or waffles. They also have an a la carte menu. Breakfast pastries are made on site and absolutely delicious. A great selection of food but not atypical of what you’d find at any Doubletree or Embassy Suites but for double the price here.

Sandcastle at night serves sushi! I loved the Spider roll. My parents shared the seafood platter. My husband enjoyed the Cuban sandwich. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet. It was again good, but not amazing. For the price 28 per person, I believe it should be amazing. Our server brought our check after only 20 minutes. I had ask for refills of the coffee.I am accustomed to Hilton having exceptional service.
