I took my cat there to have a teeth cleaned maybe a couple of teeth pulled I think I paid over $1,500 I asked them to take a photograph of before and after they showed me a photocopy that you couldn't make out but it was even a cat's mouth pretty disappointed I know I paid a lot of money and I don't know what they did for that money let's just very suspicious they couldn't take a photograph with their phone. Like a lot of vets they rip you off

We have been coming here for 3 years now for our cat and every single doctor and nurse we have had so far has been nothing less than AMAZING. Recently we have been seeing Dr. Reno and he is wonderful! They are truly caring, sweet and really takes the time to explain everything in great detail and answer all of our questions with patience. Thank you so so much!

Wonderful! Staff was so good to my dog Sampson. He is afraid and aggressive bcz of past trauma and they treated him with the utmost care and respect. They are very knowledgeable about their care and about any issues my dog had. We were new and so I didn’t know what to expect…They treated us with kindness and let us make the choices on what to do after they told us the options. Also, gave us estimates on certain care so that my husband and I could make reasonable decisions. Would recommend to friends and family!

My cat started crying in the middle of the night trying to use the bathroom. He was urinating, so I knew we were looking at more of an urgent rather than emergent situation. Unfortunately, I was scheduled to work that day and being an ER RN it’s impossible for me to call out. I called NSB Animal Medical Center after seeing on Google that they had evening hours and my regular vet closes at 5. A big work up and over $500 later my cat was sent home on non-steroid anti-inflammatory medications. I gave him his first dose as soon as we got home. We kept him in the spare bathroom overnight to minimize stress and keep a better eye on his bathroom habits. When I woke up this morning I noticed he hadn’t peed since he got home last night. I called NSBAMC and informed them of this. They asked if I could bring him in and drop him off, which I did. They did the same exams as the previous night and gave him the same diagnosis. This time they added on a new medication to reduce the inflammation in his urethra. Shouldn’t this have been given with the other medication last night? They said the same thing they did last night that his bladder and urethra were inflamed. Nothing new, nothing different. So, why wasn’t this medication given last night. I went to check out and it was an additional $160 for the same diagnosis!! I asked politely if they would mind waving the office visit fee. I said I would pay for the work up they did. I just feel the vet last night missed something in treating my cat. They would not wave it, saying that they had to fit him in. I told them I appreciated that but if the vet last night had prescribed this medication it could have saved myself and my cat the stress of having to come back in today. I was told “I don’t make the rules, I just follow them”. They lost a new client. I was going to switch because this vet is closer and has better hours. I will continue to take my 5 cats to the Cat Care Clinic. I will buy my cats prescription food from the Cat Care Clinic. I will continue to take my dogs to their current vet. I will buy my dogs flea/tick and heartworm from their current vet. They could have gotten a new client today but lost them over less than $60.

Horrible! Called here tonight with an emergency. My kitten was spayed 2 days ago and the on call vet tech said to take her to an emergency clinic. Girl that's answered the phone said I had to make an appointment! For an emergency! Wow. She was short and cold. How do these people get jobs caring for animals? Zero compassion. I'll never call here again and suggest you do the same. ?

Brought my cat here for an emergency visit because he wasn’t eating and had a fever for 3 days. Dr. Ferullo saw him right away and offered several courses of action after I explained my cat’s symptoms. The courses of action ranged from least to most invasive. Emergency laparoscopy surgery was one of them and they were able to perform it that day which was a lifesaver for my sweet boy. I felt so bad for putting him under the knife, but the staff at NSBAMC made me feel calm and comfortable with the procedure. Dr. Ferullo followed up with me right after the surgery was completed with an update. She found something hard obstructing his small intestine and was able to move it along to large intestine to help it pass instead of cutting into it. They also ran tests and blood work to rule out any other complications. He was sent home with meds the same day to make his recovery comfortable and the following day they followed up to check up on him. I also had the option to have him transferred to an animal hospital for overnight care, but chose to do the after care myself. It has been 3 days since the surgery and today my boy passed the obstruction - it was a rock. He ate a rock! I’m so thankful for the team at NSBAMC for saving my cat’s life. They really care about their patients.

I was in Florida visiting from New Jersey when my Frenchie, Eevee got something in her eye while playing. I didn’t even call, saw the office was open and went, they got us in and within 1/2 hour my girl was being seen by Dr. Erdman and vet Tech Brittany. Everyone in the office was kind, helpful and explained everything thoroughly, what needed to be done to correctly diagnose the injury, the cost and aftercare. Thank you so much, eye injuries can be quite serious and I am thankful for your professionalism and obvious care for the animals. She has a follow-up on Monday with her home vet, will keep you posted!

I have a very anxious kitty. She is terrified of the vet and bringing her can be quite stressful for both of us honestly. Today she had her very first visit at NSBAMC and it was fantastic. They knew exactly what to do and the special treatment required to make my cat less anxious and less traumatized. She received the upmost compassionate, understanding and gentle care suited to HER needs. Dr. Ferullo and her nurses Melissa and Hannah provided professional, friendly and compassionate care and I am so thankful for this. They strived to ensure my baby was as comfortable as possible and everything went smoothly and with as little stress to my sweet girl as possible. I could not be more happy with the care she received today. My girl came in with an upset belly and left feeling much much better thanks to their attention to detail, in depth care and diagnostics and expertise. I highly highly recommend bringing your pets here for excellent vet care that goes above and beyond and treats your pets like their own.
