I love this place personally. All of my cats come here. Loki, Lucky, Mac n Cheese and a very good friend of mine’s cat, Mr. Murder Mittens comes here. And I took a very long drive from Middleburg to bring Murder Mittens to them. They are also so helpful, give advise, suggestions, estimates, and do not pressure you at all. They give honest opinions. I don’t what’s up with some of these bad reviews, but this place is solid regardless of the pricing. You’re paying for awesome service for the fur babies. Like they say, you get what you pay for. And I’ve been very happy. Keep up the awesome job there!

We want to thank everyone at Jonesville Animal Hospital; the loving and caring veterinarians, the welcoming receptionists and techs, who helped us guide Georgie, our chocolate lab, two years ago, and Bullet, our German Shepherd, yesterday, over the Rainbow Bridge.❤️❤️ They did everything to save our beloved dogs’ lives, and when that wasn’t possible, they brought Georgie to the U.F. Vet School Hospital, where she died, and helped us help Bullet die in peace. Thank you all for your love and dedication to easing and preventing animals’ suffering, and helping animals to live their healthiest and best lives!! God Bless you all!!❤️?

I took my cat in for a dental cleaning and exam not knowing how bad her teeth were. She needed 5 teeth pulled. At first I was alarmed due to the fact I had never taken my cat in for dental work. Well I couldn’t be happier now! After healing, my cat is more vocal, affectionate, and playful then she has been in years. I wish I had taken her to get a dental done sooner. THANK YOU JONESVILLE ANIMAL HOSPITAL!!

This is the best vet I’ve ever been to. The prices are really reasonable and amazing compared to other places. Also when I went today everyone was super empathetic and dr graham I think is his name was very empathetic with us and was super professional. I was very happy with this animal hospital.

It seems that this animal hospital (like many others) take advantage of the pet owner when the pet isn’t feeling too good. They tend to magnify the worse case scenario’s every time. I was pressured into believing that my dog desperately needed a 200 dollar X-Ray when all he needed was a some anti-throw up medication. When the owner decides to deny an exam or a vaccine, then the Veterinarian or Vet Tech make subtle comments like “ make sure you save up a little more next time before you come here” which is unprofessional and disrespectful. It has nothing to do with if I could afford it, I only deny things that I believe are unnecessary. I’m sure this hospital like many others will not do anything to change their ways but I hope the fellow pet owners that read this review see this and are not guilt tripped into pay for unnecessary X Rays or vaccines.

The vets here are very nice and are very good with our dogs, but there seems to be some miscommunication every time I go to this hospital either regarding what I’ll be paying for the visit or what the visit is actually for. Ever since one of their vets, Dr. Basset, left the practice, this place has gone downhill. I never know what I’m going to have to pay when walking into this place, and it’s usually an insane amount. They charge upwards of $40 for a $5 vaccine; I understand having to make money in your practice, but these prices are the reason so many people let their animals go unvaccinated and Jonesville Animal Hospital is part of the problem. Your pet is only important to them because he/she makes the owner money.

As is always the case Dr. Lerman and the staff provide the best most compassionate care for our pets. Just recently we had to say goodbye to Bella.Dr. Lerman adjusted her schedule to make it the most comfortable for us and for Bella. There are not words that can adequately describe the genuine love and concern shown to us at this really difficult time. Have relied on Dr. Lerman and her staff for over 30 years. We haven’t lived in the Gainesville/Newberry area for over 25 years but we still make the drive to see Jill and her staff to take care of our four legged family members. You will not find a more knowledgeable, experienced and compassionate practice anywhere.

If I could give more stars I would. The entire staff have been amazing and have went out of their way to help me get my dog well. Dr Lerman and her staff (especially Christina and Kim) are the best!

We visited Jonesville Animal Hospital after having multiple negative experiences at pet paradise. Each time we’ve been to clinic the vets and staff have gone out of way to make us and our animals feel comfortable.— If you have a stubborn or feisty cat this is absolutely the best place to go. I’ve never seen anyone handle my cats with as much as care as the vets did today.—Two weeks ago the staff rushed my Rottie in on an emergency visit. They absolutely met my expectations with her as well.

These doctors (and their excellent staff) never fail our little Jasmine ?. We recently came back to the area and Dr. Bassett and Dr. Lehrman have the intuition to handle tricky situations with our baby. We love this group!!!

Jonesville Animal Hospital truly lives up to the Fear Free designation. Dr. Davey was wonderful with our dog who gets nervous at vet visits, and he spent a very generous amount of time with us answering our many questions. Kim went above and beyond arranging our appointment and transferring records. We chose JAH because of their Fear Free certification and their excellent reviews, and it was definitely the right choice.

If I could give this place more than five stars I would! My son is epileptic and his service dog is amazing at her job. However, our precious lil Lala B (Bella) is like a mini kujo when a stranger tries to touch her. In other words, the Chihuahua and Yorkie in her comes flying out. Haha. Now, she's good at going into places and being quiet. Until, we hit the vet! It's like she has this spideysense that everything is about to get real! Because they're coming for her. LOL. Needless to say, I needed a vet with the patience to accommodate her needs to get this done. Let's just say it is a team work makes the dream work kind of task. And the gentleman and woman who double teamed her with me were completely amazing! Pricing wise I also found them to be reasonable. They were a few dollars higher on vaccinations and the general exam visit in the area. But in my opinion good care and customer service is priceless. So, I do not mind paying a little more for my baby if the service is worth it. Not saying, that others weren't or aren't-- they just were able to accommodate everything on my checklist versus just some. I also appreciated that they suggested some other options that we could use to help her for the next visit. Overall, excellent job and thank you!

Bear with me on this one. 12 year old Papillon Cookie had IBD diagnosed some years ago. The great Dr Davey helped us manage it for quite some time. Three years probably. She’d not feel well off and on but always bounced back. Until she didn’t. Miss cookie didn’t feel well for some time and some days would eat and some days wouldn’t. Early January she wasn’t feeling well. I am on a cancer journey and Had surgery also early January. Through the surgery healing process Miss Cookie continued to Not do well. There came a morning I looked at Her and said no matter where I am with healing, Cookie needs help now. I called JAH and made an appointment for her to see Dr Bassett that day. He gave her a thorough going over, Sent off blood work and anything she may have needed for diagnosis. She came home having gotten anti nausea meds and sub-cu fluids. We made arrangements for her to be there all the next day for fluids and supporting meds. And all the next day after that. She came back with kidney disease and possibly pancreatitis on top of her already ibd issues. Dr Bassett took the time to call me More than once a day and speak to me extensively about where she was and what our options for her may be. He listened very carefully to my concerns and answered every question and concern I had with patience and understanding. He offered advice without pushing an agenda. In the end, I felt we had to let her go after trying for some days to help Her turn it around. Dr Bassett and every single person at Jonesville Animal Hospital acted with the utmost compassion and understanding in this time of loss. Cookie was my service dog and she and I had been together since she was a puppy. The doctors and staff at JAH are absolutely at the top of the list. They are a fear free facility and you absolutely get everything you’d want and more there. I am so very grateful for everything Dr Bassett did to help her and for the kindness and compassion shown at the time of her passing.
