In March 2024, the Atlantic Group was contracted to move our household possessions from Voorhees, NJ, to Clearwater, FL. Based on a video walk-through, the move cost was quoted as $20,000. This included a full pack and a direct move from NJ to FL with only our possessions on the semi. The movers arrived late, were understaffed, and had inadequate packing materials. On Easter Sunday, after much of our furniture was on the truck, the move cost increased by $10,000. Movers said we would need to pay, or they would confiscate our possessions. Delivery was 2 weeks late. More than 80% of furniture was scratched, dented, or gouged. Poorly packed boxes of dishes and valuables were broken. Nothing was labeled. Maybe the greatest insult was they used my husband's suits as packing material. Do not use this company!

For the love of God, STAY AWAY! With Atlantic Group, your move will be like a tragic soap opera. Lies, cheating, misinformation, "theft", gaslighting and stonewalling. The %$#k ups are too numerous to mention. A few highlights: 24 hour delayed pickup, took ONE MONTH to deliver (promised 3-5 days), most of my things broken in the move and $4000 worth of bikes stolen in a "break-in" that happened to the unsupervised truck, zero communication, zero responsibility and then pawned it off on their insurance company for 60 cents/pound moved. The offer to comp was $103 for $8000 in losses and damages. Not a word, not a single returned phone call, no nothing. SAVE YOURSELVES making the same terrible mistake I did. STAY AWAY at all cost. You'll never regret staying away, but I can almost guarantee you you'll regret using this company.

The move of some of our things to a rental unit was great, which is why they are getting two stars. It went smoothly, they were on time, and no material damage to any of our furniture. Unfortunately most of our belongings were placed in storage while our new home was being built. The second stage of the move, from storage to the new home was a disaster! We had difficulty scheduling a date for the move as no one would return our calls. When we finally did set a date, the driver showed up several hours late at 9 pm. The driver had hired a local crew of 3 to help with the unloading but they left after about 15 minutes. While backing the van into the driveway he ran over some of our landscaping as well as broke an irrigation pipe. The driver said he could unload the furniture alone and would find help for the next day. No one came to help the driver the next day. It is not clear whether the damage was done during the unloading or transit, but we found extensive damage to our furniture. A brief recap: a solid wood table top was destroyed, 2 lamps were broken and are useless, 6 dressers had damaged corners or drawers (some of the drawers no longer open/close), 2 bookcases had broken shelves or corners, the back of a wooden chair was broken, and a glass shelf was shattered. Unfortunately we had selected the "free" insurance which covers at most $0.60 per pound of item damage. Our total compensation for the damage came to $300 and did not include anything for the landscaping or irrigation system repair. The cost to replace the items that were damaged beyond repair is several thousand dollars. If you use them (which we would not), be sure to pay for the replacement value insurance.

Moving is so stressful, but Atlantic Group made it a smoother process from start to finish. IlPayments and communication were always consistent. Atlantic Group services are worth the money. Reliable, transparent, and professional. Thank you again for all your help!

Worst experience!!!! Don’t hire them! (very rude and liars)They supposed to put my piano together and they didn’t !! I keep calling them to come and do it! They damaged some parts and I still don’t know if the piano itself is in good condition…

We recently relocated from Rhode Island to Florida, contacted a few moving companies for quotes and from the moment I spoke to Atlantic group USA our decision was made. Their attention to detail and professionalism made us extremely comfortable. Their price was amazing but as they say “it’s not only about price.” This was our first relocation and had no idea what to expect. From the day of the move until the very end it was nothing but smooth sailing. Hands down incredible and would recommend them to anyone relocating. It’s stressful enough moving but Atlantic group takes the moving stress away. The very best !! Thanks again guys from our whole family

I had the BEST experience using Atlantic for my move from NY to Charlotte. The sales manager, Christian, was patient, understanding, and within 2 phone calls we made the decision to go with Atlantic. I felt like it was a good price especially considering the level of customer service I received, the quality of the services rendered, and the peace of mind that comes with dealing directly with a company that had good ratings and reviews. We moved from a third-floor walk-up condo (the top flight was a spiral staircase) with essentially no street parking to a 3rd-floor apartment. The team was absolutely wonderful, very friendly & respectful. They worked quickly and always with a joke, were very careful, even with our budget IKEA furniture - and nothing was broken, misplaced, or even damaged. Last year we used another mover, ended up having to discard our (brand new at the time) box spring and were very unhappy. Atlantic Group of Moving and the crew are worth every penny! They called us just a little earlier than our scheduled slot, and since we were all packed, they came right over and started working. PLUS, they heeded my labels on where to put things in the new place, so I did not even have to shuffle anything during unpacking. Overall - speedy, considerate, very cool guys.

We used this company for our move and paid for full service packing. Several expensive glass items were broken during the move. There were also several pieces of furniture that were damaged and chipped (bed frames, bookshelves, armoire legs, chests, storage containers).Moving manager, Nick, stated the job by arguing with my wife and being very rude regarding navigating through our neighborhood. She asked him politely to change his time and he got even more hostile. He kept insisting he needed to get a semi / 18 wheel truck on the street, which we confirmed he could do. After all the hassle, he showed up with a manageable 20' truck.Nick held our items hostage and demanded more money for 2 additional stairs. The movers (contractors) were more than happy to do the job with a few additional stairs because we had wide open doors and hallways for easy access. Given I am disabled and pregnant, I was not in a position to move these heavy items myself. But Nick refused and was threatening to leave the items in the yard. After several rounds of arguing, we referred to the contract. The contract said $75 for additional 14 stairs, yet he was trying to charge $250 for 2 stairs. We said we'd talk to customer support, and he said "I am customer support, sales, management. I am everything and what I say goes. I own this company."Nick refused to assemble items that he claims were not disassembled during the packing phase (he was not a part of that process). This was a complete lie and confirmed by the movers that actually packed our house while we supervised. He was just being lazy. He lied like this in several instances to avoid doing any actual work, which meant we had to continue to call the movers that packed our house to set things straight.The only time this job ran smoothly is when the manager left randomly in the middle of the move for a few hours. The contractors were kind and helpful and hardworking. They also willingly shared how unprofessional and lazy Nick was.With full service packing, we expected boxes to be properly labeled, at least by location in the house. A majority of the boxes were either not labeled or mislabeled, requiring us to re-move several boxes on our own after delivery. The mover manager just left most things he touched on the main level without asking or looking at the items so that he didn't have to use stairs.Lastly, Nick refused to discard any tv / electronics boxes, tape, bubble wrap, and moving blankets. He claimed that I own these items and it's not his job to get rid of them. I've never encountered a moving company or any service company that doesn't dispose of their own materials that they used to complete the job.When paying over $13k for a move, we certainly expected more attention to detail and care for our personal belongings. We will not be using this service again and will be demanding compensation for all of our damaged property.

Exceptional service from start to finish. The movers were efficient and took great care of my fragile items. The storage facility is top-notch, with climate control to protect my belongings. I will definitely use this company again in the future.
