This place is a blessing! The people are kind and helpful. From beginning to end, everything was perfect! Communication, punctuality—everything is superlative! They offer many services: spaying, neutering, microchipping, vaccinations, etc., at the best prices in that area. Thank you so much for existing and helping us with our street cats!

PURRR is amazing, fascinating, appreciated. This innovative and fun concept could be created across the globe but it is one-of-it’s-kind.
I’m so happy to know about all of you!

Needed to get a stray cat I had been feeding spayed before she went into heat again and I’m so happy I found this place! Scheduling the appointment was easy and drop off/pick up was straightforward. They accept the Broward TNR program so the service was free. I’ll be recommending this place to others for sure.

This place is fantastic! Their prices are reasonable. We took 5 stray kittens that we had found to have them spayed & neutered. $90.00 for females and $75.00 for males. Very low cost compared to what our personal vet wanted to charge! The vet did a good job and the kittens all healed well from their surgeries.

They don't answer the phone. You leave a message. You email. Nothing; they don't return call. They don't care, I found a homeless starving kitten. It needs help. They don't care!

I have to start out and say that I had high hopes for this place when it came to fixing my Kitty; and while I feel like for the most part they did a great job as far as the surgery goes, there were a few things that would deter me from recommending them to anyone who wants to get their pet spayed/neutered. We are told in the preliminary email that all cats need to be in a hard sided carrier when brought the day of surgery. Okay, totally fine. What we are not told is that the kitties (obviously aside from actual surgery time) will be remaining in that carrier for the duration of the day (8am-3pm) even post op to heal and relax. I feel like this should be made evident to people because I was under the assumption they had cages to put them in so that they’re not packed into this tiny uncomfortable carrier for hours. So if you do go here: make sure to put your cat in bigger carrier and not a smaller transport carrier so they have plenty of space to feel comfortable. Number two, and this really frustrated me….when I picked up my cat I noticed they had placed a pee pad in the carrier but that there was a strong smell of urine. I get home and when he walks out of the carrier his entire bottom, belly, and legs are SOAKED and he wreaks of urine. This means he was laying in his own pee for who knows how long, and he’s obviously out of it post op due to anesthesia so he doesn’t know any better than to not lay in it as cats normally wouldn’t do. I understand that they’re very busy on surgery days and I really do appreciate what they are doing for the cat community at Purrr. At no point when I interacted with the employees did I feel like they didn’t care about the cats, and I realize that they’re trying to do this for the community at a reasonable price, but that doesn’t mean leaving them in that condition. I feel like this is a huge oversight. If the cats are going to be left in their carriers for hours they should at least be checked on to make sure that they’re not sleeping in their own waste. I hope they find ways to rectify these issues because otherwise, I feel like it’s a great facility for a great cause. But I just want other cat owners to be aware of my personal experience so they know what they’re getting into.
